Justin Bieber’s new 'Justice' album has arrived after a string of video releases that signaled the pop star's more spiritual and self-reflective concerns. “Lonely” pondered the tribulations of a life spent in the spotlight. “Holy” magnified Justin’s personal faith, comparing it with the comfort of intimacy. Musically, that track, “Hold On” and “Peaches” hinted that R&Bieber was as strong as ever. I wasn't a big fan of his early music but I always acknowledged he was a good singer. Now his music has a level of sincerity and maturity that clearly demonstrates why he is a great singer. @@ashthigue Umm, I don't know if you guys realize or not but he's laying off the high notes. He's not changing the melody to be more artistic, he's changing the melody because he is intentionally avoiding the notes in his upper register lol. Nothing wrong with it, many singers do it. But that's the reason why he's doing it. The arrangement was not touched. It's the exact same arrangement as the studio version. He basically just migrated the melody/chorus from his upper register and head voice to full on chest voice. If you have it, there's no reason why you shouldn't hit them--this is for your fans after all. He's been singing non stop for a very long time though I bet it's putting excessive stress on his chords. But yeah, I listen to this song every day, I love it so much. But this was a strategic choice, not an artistic one.

There’s a difference between restoration and reconciliation and this young man has experienced both. I used to take my little girl to see him perform when she was 8-9 years old. I remember how young he was out there consoling broken hearts when nobody saw his beginning to crack. It’s been amazing to watch his own resurrection. I watched his doc on YT. The fact he’s fell back in love with his 2nd love is a testament to the love the Father has bestowed upon him. Much respect JB.

One BIG takeaway for me me is that he owned it and didn't get hung up on pointing fingers or blaming others. Sounds like he's surrounded himself with a solid team and made his health a priority. Plenty of other examples especially of young superstars that never made it to the other side to be able to share their perspective.

There’s a difference between restoration and reconciliation and this young man has experienced both. I used to take my little girl to see him perform when she was 8-9 years old. I remember how young he was out there consoling broken hearts when nobody saw his beginning to crack. It’s been amazing to watch his own resurrection. I watched his doc on YT. I feel like he performs wayyy better without choreography. His voice just comes out way stronger when he’s not dancing. ( not saying that he can’t dance tho)
Agreed. It's hard to control your breathing while dancing and singing the dancing will make you voice sound winded taking away from your vocals. That's why a lot of artists have recordings played while they do a choreography performance.

I'm 45 and I have been a fan of Justin's music for many years now. He's one of the few singers I've come across in my lifetime that actually comes "from the heart", having a vocal style you can really and truly "feel" in the very core and center of your chest! Even though he's so young, his voice has an "emotional resonance" of someone who's lived 100 lifetimes, falling in love, losing that love, etc. over and over again. He's a truly beautiful Soul who deserves everything he has!!
