The color principles remain the same. But I don't think the transfer color is as necessary for Linear gradients as of the latest Figma rollout. From my tests, the gradient ramp is much smoother and you can simply adjust one of the two color stop positions to achieve the same effect. Adding a transfer color just helps if you happen to notice any graying in-between colors stops.
Great! I really recommend using some kind of cursor indicator to better follow where your mouse is on the screen.
