I know this may be a crazy request but would you be willing and consider, speaking about every chapter of the Quran? I wish there were Muslim creators who embraced the concept of essayist when it comes to this topic, I love hearing a new perspective and simply learn more about each chapter while I'm not doing anything in particular. Thank you for the content you put out 💜

Surah kaf talks about four trials. First trial is seen by people of the cave and testimony of faith. Another trial is trial of wealth with the two gardens, then the trial of knowledge with Moses and his patience and the last is trial of power with Dhul Qurnay.

I’m typing this before I finished the video so i don’t know if she mentioned it but I find it so beautiful how Musa as was sent to Khidr because he assumed he was the most knowledgeable on earth and Allah told him about Khidr as not just someone to learn from but as a reminder that you never know what’s in the hearts of people and you never know what people have so you should never assume. Keep in mind that Musa as wasn’t wrong to assume that because he was a prophet and a vessel to spread knowledge.

In the Dhul Qarynayn story, there's also a part that mentions that they spoke different languages (translated version), yet Dhul Qarynayn was still capable of helping them. It reminds me that there are no real barriers to humanity, we make up these "differences" to separate ourselves when we're all the same by design it's just our approach to interacting with the world around us that makes things difficult.

What you said about people questioning others goodness stuck with me. I’ve never been religious at all, but there’s something about Islam. Part of me is scared to call myself religious and ascribe a label to myself because I’m so strong willed and I have such a strong sense of justice and I definitely believe things that a lot of religious people find abhorrent or wrong. I’ve been told before that I don’t belong in religious circles because I don’t ask too many questions and I’m confident and loud about loving people as they are because they were meant to be the way they are. I think I’ll just have to make my own space wherever I decide I fit best

Ik you were asking Farah and not us but
I think what really helps me at least is still basing that time off your love for the salah and the Quran by doing things in that time more that give you more time later to spend with the salah and Quran. Like if you’ve got studies, studying more, if you have cooking, food prep etc. So you’re maintaining the love for these and making space to love them more later. And also using other means of serving Allah, like studying Islam, dhikr, service etc

For me, in the cave chapter, i see that Moussa's story is full of lessons and we should really delve deep in it, honestly i felt disappointed that u didn't speak abt in a vast way but that's fine, Quraan does reflect on others in different way. In the case of Moussa and Khidr u can clearly see that its similar to our lives, "فكيف تصبر على ما لم تحط به خبرا" it's soo deep like the only thing that we have in this life in our faith (يقين) in Allah we just have to be patient cuz wt we see is only the shallow meanings but Allah may hide for us muuch better that we expect or maybe we are saved sometimes like the sailors of the ship in the story, the mother that her son died and she have to be patient evn tho she has no idea why her son would be killed and taken away from her but Allah wanted the best for her by a good son instead of the other one ( ولا تعلم نفس ما ٱخفي لها من قرة أعين).

    Correction at 14:40
Its about the people of reliance or tawakkul who will be free from any reckoning or questioning before entering Jannah and its narrated in Hadeeth that they will be 70k in number which means that for every 1k is another 70k of them. They are the people who didn't ask ruqyah from people / didnt cauterise ( burning wound) and didn't believe in bad omens.

I think it’s great that you’re curious about Islam. Regarding your friends, I think they might just be too excited about your interest, which can make you feel overwhelmed.
In Islam, every action is based on intention. So, if your friends are teaching you about Islam to please God, then they might be rewarded. If they are teaching you Islam for their own sake/image, then they likely wouldn’t be rewarded.
      God knows best!
Also, you mentioned you’re not ready and that’s fine. In Islam, there is no compulsion. Take your time and only revert when you feel ready!

I'm an artist and I sculpt small things with no intention of idolizing, worshiping or attempting to give life to them. However, I'm in a dilemma about whether this is truly haram. I know there's a lot of Hadith saying it's Haram, also I'm considering the context in which it was said. I'm actually really confused. 😞
Asking this because I learned you used to make art too!

Might be better to go to a scholars or generally more qualified person for that type of video topic. Yasir Qadhi’s I’d recommend, he goes into a lot of detail about the different opinions and the evidence behind them (though I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s missed parts). Farah’s videos seem to be a lot less fiqh based, though she obviously also does her research and gives solid advice

The pride by Iblis is in heaven.. while we are on the earth. ❗Humans are argumentative. But only for the Afterlife, we let go.
The secondary goal can make us forget the primary goal ❗
The separation does not mean either of us are bad. But the language is different❗.
For the Zulqarnayn story, I never put myself in his place cause he is like the Khalifa but to think that we already have everything we need so what can I give to the world? I don't need anyone because everything belongs to Allah. Subhanallah..
Sometimes a higher position is not that very important to start but the way we act as an individual can put us under the right Leader.

You don't need to know Arabic to understand Quran. Everyone can Read it in their own language. Also, everybody understands it differently. That what makes it more interesting and beautiful.
