- I made a visit out to Jackson Hole to ski Teton Village Mid January and linked up with Tim Dirtschi. We had two great days, the first sunny and chalky, and then over night it snowed a few inches and we had a solid storm day skiing around the resort. Conditions were still thin but just good enough to have a ton of fun. Rocks were still lurking close to the surface but we managed to avoid them pretty well. Thanks to @tetongravityresearch and @jacksonhole

lol looked pretty squirrely with the coverage, but still ripping! Also I LOVE watching Durtschi ski, one of my favorites.
Duck, dodge, dive?
Haha for sure pretty squirrely, and love skiing with Tim. He’s always entertaining
I love your videos like this that doing ground tricks and riding with freeski !!
Amazing!
Thanks!
My boys and I run into Tim every once in a while on the hill. Really nice guy and a thrill for them to see in person someone they know from ski movies.
That’s awesome and yes. A great and humble guy.
Amazing as always! 😎
thanks!
EPIC!!! You guys killed it in those conditions!!
It was fun for sure!
these are fire 🔥 keep this up 💪🏼
Thanks!!
And that ladies and gentlemen is why you never cut across the bottom of a drop or blind spot
a close call!
I was there the last three days. Foggy and 35-40 degrees with spring mashed snow. Wild place though.
I had some pretty lucky timing, it was thin but good snow. So it goes and yes a truly wild place!
Yeeeeeee haaaaaa‼️
yes yes Thoth!!
I saw you guys getting off the tram on that second day. Good footage and fun times. It would havd been nice to see some Griffin Post footage even though he isn't an Atomic athlete.
Fun day for sure! and Ive got a whole episode with Griffin post next week im working on from my trip! plus a episode from Griffin Dune, and Max Martin in the works!
lets goo, a LTAL in jackson!!!
Yess! got a few more episodes from this trip rolling out the next few weeks as well.
How do you like the new maverick 115's? After their announcement I'm very interested in picking up a pair for powder days and when I'm mainly skiing off groomed runs
I love them. I’ve skied the 105, the 115, in both the 184, and 193 and love all of them. It’s super stable, charges hard but still has life and pop
Runs look awesome! Are you guys riding hoback around 2:50?
Yep! we do a couple down the Hoback's, day one and two
What mount are you using to film this?
Just a head mount clip
Have the option of going to Jackson or red mountain BC in early march. Thoughts???
Can’t go wrong either way. Both are awesome places, if you can make the call last min, watching the weather at both will help. Like any place, nailing good conditions can make it a whole different world. And additionally you can have a great time skiing no matter what the conditions.. so enjoy your trip either way!
Pretty rough rn in BC interior. Warm temps and low tide. I’d only go if you know fornsure you’re getting a storm or two
@@sagePerspective alright. Thanks sage! And thanks again for all of these edits, they are great fun to watch and keep me fired up on skiing even though I have to travel to do it, so it isnt my every week hobby.
Take care and stay safe out there brother
Red’s harder to get to in most cases, but flights to Jackson are expensive.
Did you stop using your bent 110?
Nope still love them, and ski them on certain days, I like them for spring vibes, and early season, or if I’m try to get tricky
How did those 115 cti compare to your bent 110?
Less tail rocker, stiffer both in flex and torsionally, wood core goes all the way to the tip w horizon tech inserts on tip sides rather than all the way around. Over all it’s a more directional, and stiff ski, but still has playful characteristics
@@sagePerspective Where did you mount your 115s?
@@oskarfreeski I mount mine at +2.5 in front of rec. similar to backland 117 more balanced.
Why does 9:07 sound like an inserted sound bite of Sage saying "Fun!"
The GoPro cut out the sound in those last clips, and it sounded really muffled. I slapped some b roll audio over it to smooth things out a bit, but that snuck in there
I spy some new bents???👀
Oh yesss
*Durtschi
thanks! fixed it lol
Do you ever get hurt? Some of these videos look like little margin for error and lots of obstacles
good observation and we do our best to be wise and safe.
Runs look awesome! Are you guys riding hoback around 2:50?
Yeah! Did a few through there
