I really appreciate the directness of Bianca toward the announcement. In the pool and in the room she is asking point blank if Marissa is okay. Marissa is now the uncomfortable on and not Bianca.
@timafi I know what you mean but from 2:30 to 3:17 this is the first time that I've seen Bianca really laugh when dealing with this issue with Marissa. Second, the writers made a great reference about the gay signal since Bat girl is the only somewhat known lesbian super hero from DC comics.
I think Marissa is acting typical really. I don' think she want to hurt Bianca at all but the very platonic relationship just took a big turn and threw Marissa right off the track! I do believe she will "do her time" with JR but realize that all of these feelings she is having for him are really for Bianca! I will say M & B can definitely tear up a bikini, lol! Marissa was looking pretty hot when she went to see JR. ;-) I am enjoying all of the airtime M & B are getting. Makes me happy!
I hope that the story-line has Marissa chasing and trying to convince Bianca that she does have feelings for her. It would be a drastic change from the build up to the point that they can't avoid it anymore. Since AMC does not have the time to do that now.
@Tramainea This might sound naive but I actually took M's jumpiness as a good sign. I believe that M is cool about B being a lesbian as a concept. Going on the double date for example, M didn't see the chemistry between B and her potential date so it was cool. M is a good person, if she wasn't attracted to B she would have felt bad and maybe a bit uncomfortable, but would have stayed and been not "jumpy". But M ran... Why? cause B's attraction exposed M's. So M had to run away to deny.
@plindiful I think that's a bit harsh. I do think Marissa is running scared because there is truth to what Bianca said. When guys are questing their sexuality or they are caught off guard or uncomfortable they lash out and sometimes attack a gay guy. Girls usually get into relationship with men to prove to themselves that they are not gay. Usually they choose someone they do not care if they do hurt. JR is there and accessible to her. Yes DanieXJ not BABY please. It would be hell 4 them.
@Tramainea I'm with you and against you. Marissa shouldn't have acted that way. That kinda makes me wonder what she really thinks of lesbians. I mean, Bianca isn't a pervert or anything. It's like a guy telling Marissa that he is attracted to her...only, it's not! I understand that for Marissa it is a BIG FAT announcement. Marissa might of acted like that because she thinks Bianca's feeling are pure sexual attraction, not LOVE like we all know. imo

Marissa couldn't get out of there quick enough to run home to JR so she can prove to herself she is straight. first that then she'll realize she love bianca and will see binks on a date with someone else. And she'll be mad a JR for using bianca to woo her!!
I think that Marissa needs to work through her relationship with J.R. before she'll be ready to be with Bianca. She needs to see whether or not the spark still exists between her old love before she can move onto a new love...Besides it's still a big jump from being straight all of your life to being in love with your lesbian best friend and having sex with a man will--she thinks--mistakenly--reaffirms her hetrosexuality. I just hope she doesn't end up pregnant like Natalia in GUIDING LIGHT.
Its pissing me off that i cant download these amazingly intense clips of minx. is anyone here willing to email mondays episodes to me in full. please im desperste here. i cant watch them here becuase my laptop just crased. and my cell phone sucks
