I love these kinds of videos. Also fall is my favorite! There is something magical about the trees turning colors. Also, I was definitely giggling a bit when you were saying "Smut, Smut, smut, smut, smut." It also kind of makes me sad because sometimes it is so hard to filter the books we get from somewhere unless you talk to other people that have read them. And it makes me sad that 🌽 is SO normalized in our culture.
@@iheartmustaches7398 i know, right?!?! In Middle Earth sprints last night, someone made the comment that they wished books had ratings the same way that movies and tv shows did (R, PG-13, PG, G, etc…) & I think that would make our lives so much easier!!!
@@thelucychronicles oh that's ok. She's kind of niche. She wrote some detective stories, but mostly she's known as being the OG of regency romance. She basically defined the genre back in the 50s and 60s.

I feel like The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah had less swearing and although I know characters slept with each other, I don't remember it being smutty. I also read The Great Alone by her but it definitely had swearing and mentions of sexual situations. I don't think she ever gets graphic, so not smutty, but definitely characters sleep with each other. She's personally not my favorite author, and I don't need to read anymore by her.
