WW2 Pill Box Hunting

Happy Birthday explore to KERNOW EXP. We set off in some traditionally
lousy Cornish winter weather trecking accros farm land to chech out some very local WW2 history in the form of two vey unique pill boxs

Very interesting video mate! So much history to be found at that embarkation site.

I have been to both pillboxes and noticed the strange low beams and the hole in the roof.

Pillbox embrasures often had an air vent above them,put in when pillbox being built as it has a dog leg in it.Difficult to do after pillbox built.

I used to play in the pill boxes In Helford when I was a kid we used to pretend to shoot Nazi Germans in them I must of been about 8 or 9 years old 😂 you just brought back a childhood memory thank you mate 👍
