@@user-od1kz5pk4p that's because you don't get it you probably have healthy parents people who had absent or abused parents understand this fully but you can by understanding psychology and reading online about what the storys main point was about and I read this beautifully written article that explains it perfectly but basically he grew up believing he is the 'wolf" and not deserving of others love because he will hurt them as he was made to watch others suffering by Margaret. He has never seen what healthy parents are like so of course he is going to be confusing. But in real life if this happens don't try and fix these kinds people because they are not like they are in movies, I mean the ones that are confusing. This is just fantasy romance. hope this helps. this is good that it's confusing to you it means that you have a healthy brain and this doesn't seem comfortable to you but abuse victims have to learn that but because they find his behaviour similar they can fall into toxic patterns. next time you can watch videos explaining in it or read something because thats what I do and it helps me. I wish I also found him confusing and didn't understand as I do.
