    These birdseed ornaments are SO EASY to make and they look gorgeous on the trees outside! They hold their shape perfectly and only need 4 ingredients! So pretty! They are ideal for temperatures all the way up to 13ºC (55ºF). What a fun little project for the backyard!

    Feel like corn syrup probably isn't the best for the birds

    I followed the recipe very precisely and after a full overnight in the fridge they did not harden and fell apart to mush. I don't know what I did wrong.

      Hello! We're sorry it didn't work perfectly for you! The only thing we can think of is that is has something to do with the gelatin. Check to make sure it's not expired, and don't over-mix it! If you didn't throw out the batch that didn't work for you, you can put it in the microwave to melt it down and try again! Please let us know how it goes!

    ok.... CORN syrup????.... not a good food for anything or anyone that I know of....if the reason is to sweeten...(WHY? in the 1st place)...but how about stevia or ??? Birds like sweet sap from trees bet they'd like maple syrup. This is a quick to the point demo, and really cute end result... thank you just wish I knew ingredient AMOUNTS.

    What is the corn syrup for? Can I exclude it? Thank you

    • @OneLittleProject
      @OneLittleProject  2 года назад +1

      The corn syrup acts as a binder for the birdseed, holding the ornament together! If you do exclude it let us know how they turn out!
