i just made this comment im in the tampa/tarpon area and these houses are so cheap. the housing market in CA is really a mess right now due to the divide in income. with all of the big movie stars and political figures and tech heads living there things are so expensive. the poverty rate is incredibly high there too. in NY you have a lot of large business owners, singers, bands, stock market guys etc so a 3,000 square foot flat can run anywhere from 4k a month to 40k.

Wow....that 500k house would be like 150k right now here.....the 1.3 million dollar house would be worth literally 300k TOPS here in central FL too. 1700 square feet? Lmao you can literally get a 4-7k square ft lakefront mansion with a huge pool and ACRES of perfectly landscaped land here. The most expensive house sold recently in town is a mansion that is so massive and luxurious that it was literally utilized in a Hollywood movie....not even exaggerating.....and it was nearly 3 million. Some areas of Cali are so overpriced its not even funny.

i just made this comment im in the tampa/tarpon area and these houses are so cheap. the housing market in CA is really a mess right now due to the divide in income. with all of the big movie stars and political figures and tech heads living there things are so expensive. the poverty rate is incredibly high there too. in NY you have a lot of large business owners, singers, bands, stock market guys etc so a 3,000 square foot flat can run anywhere from 4k a month to 40k.
Jen Tuesday, lol I live in SF and am not filthy rich by any measure, and the only difference between me and my family friends who live in a cheaper place (Texas, Georgia, etc.) is their house is bigger than mine, and I pay marginally more for food. I am by no means living like a peasant, and they are by no means living like royalty. I can't imagine LA being any different.
