Rahab was a Canaanite woman in Jericho who demonstrated great faith in God by protecting the Israelite spies (Joshua 2). Despite her past as a prostitute, she believed in God's power, hid the spies, and asked for her family's salvation. Her faith led to her being spared during Jericho’s destruction (Joshua 6:22-25). She is praised in Hebrews 11:31 for her faith and in James 2:25 for her works. Remarkably, Rahab became part of Jesus' genealogy (Matthew 1:5), showing God's grace and redemption. Her story teaches that true faith leads to action and that God can transform anyone for His purposes.
