Today we are back in the Elm Hill City Zoo where we will build the first indoor habitat in the Reptile House! The Asian Water Monitor from the new Tropical Pack is the first reptile that we are adding to that building! 🦎 More reptiles are coming in the future! Hope you guys will enjoy the video! 💚

Elm Hill City Zoo is the series of sandbox speed build videos where I design and build habitats and facility buildings.
Elm Hill City Zoo is my creation of typical older city zoo that is managed very well and has some of its parts renovated to suit the needs of animals and its guests. I am going to use some inspiration from the zoos I've been to as well as the photos and projects I collected on my Pinterest board.

My hot take on the Blueprints!
As an artist who creates things, I take credits VERY seriously!!! It's the same as using someone's artwork as inspiration or using someones line work as a base for your own works, you give credit. It is NOT at ALL a bad thing to ask for credit when someone uses your creations! I asked for credit to be given when someone uses one of my line art bases for their works.

Yeah 🥳 finally a reptile for the elm hill city zoo.. the asian water monitor enclosure is soo detailed & beautiful..❤❤ i can't wait to see saltwater crocodile , american alligator , nile monitor , gharial & cuvier's dwarf & spectacled caiman.

Cesar, I would love to see a habitat in the reptile building that is in the middle of a big room that guests can walk around all sides with a large middle attraction/back drop!! I think that would be amazing and give you a challenge for an indoor exhibit!
One that does not have a window that goes from floor to ceiling. More like an open top where guests can see over the top if that makes sense.

An amazing habitat as always! It looks absolutely incredible. The rock work and foliage work you do is insanely good!
Have fun on your break! Also you 100% deserve recognition when someone uses your work in their content. You put in the time to make those blueprints, the minimum that someone can do is mention that you made it. I used to draw a lot and understand how frustrating it is for someone to claim your work is theirs.

the habitat is breathtaking! im glad u can come visit :) the san diego zoo, safari park, and monterey bay aquarium are incredible places, and they never get old, even as a local lol. try to get to the zoos in particular as early as you possibly can, because it takes a long time to see it all!

It is totally okay that you want to have a shout out when people use your stuff. I think every creator deserve it, because all people use a lot of work for there blueprints.
But we have that problem in Planet coaster too and in Zoo it is unfortunately often the same.

This is so frakin cool I didn't knew that kind of confined habitat was actually possible this is like creating your own better version of the default small animals habitats you blew my mind there ! That is an amazing Asian water monitor indoor habitat that you built inside the reptile house. I really like it and also, can you build more habitats for saltwater crocodiles, American alligators, spectacled caimans, gharials, green iguanas, dwarf caimans and Galapagos tortoises inside the reptile house.

I’m from Arizona and I think you’ll really enjoy the state! Especially Northern AZ with the mountains and forests. Look up “Bearizona” and “Out of Africa”. Both are great zoo-type experiences that my state has to offer!

The San Diego zoo and the Monterey Bay aquarium are two of some of the coolest places I’ve ever been to, you’ll have a tons of fun trust me!!! The MBA is probably the most ethical aquarium in the world, they have incredibly adorable local sea otters! And the SD zoo is also a very ethical zoo that does a lot of awesome conservation work, they are currently the only zoo in the US that house platypus!

Fun fact: birds are the only warm blooded reptiles.
Another interesting trivia is that leatherback sea turtles are mesothermic ("temperate blooded"), meaning that they maintain a stable body temperature from their sheer size and activity
Some small birds and mammals have the opposite situation: their bodies are so small that in spite of their metabolism their bodies are the same temperature as their environment, making them technically ectothermic (cold blooded)

There will be giant tortoise or Komodo Dragon? In Barcelona Zoo we have a beautiful reptile house i say that because I work in that zoo in the kitchen of the bird house and Aldabra enclosure and the penguins.
