This was my parents era. I was born in the thirties and remember these songs played on a wind up gramophone. Now, with the world in turmoil I long for those tranquil days.

The World stage is always in turmoil, sorry truth is those at the top know that as long as those below at the bottom get feed and are entertained, things for them are good. Its up to us to stop the nonsense, but they dont make it easy. Especially in the last 70 years.

@@I_scribbles I agree with you . The 1920s were good in many ways but they were also the times of organised crime in the USA . Mass starvation in Europe . Many of the " Bright Young Things " of this " Jazz era" died of drug over doses and STDs . The rise of Facism in Europe. There was Still the Jim Crow rulings in the USA . Yes there were good times . But also terrible times too. In the future someone will say our years were the Halcyon years. Right now we know different .

your right, it's starting to look like we might just enter into another depression, but it might be much worse because idiot politicians like spending all of our funds on pointless wars and sacrificing the nation to their causes while they flood the country with illegals, we are screwed as a country or world.
sorry i'm a bit younger man listening to oldies classics that are not of my era by at least a few generations, because i wish for simpler times that never will return because of all the nonsense going on, i'm 37 by the way, and i just don't see an end to it, well an end to the madness i mean, from this point forward it's going to be more wars and more pointless conflicts and spending money for other causes at the expense of our own country, i'm pretty sure this is in the plans of the globalists, who will come forth bringing the solution to a disease they caused in the first place, we the people are fooled into anything, we have to many distractions to see the clear picture of what's going on, including myself, but i know enough not to trust our government or our politicians.

it's funny as i'm also a younger generation listening to these classics, but my journey started by playing a video game that offered some older style music like this, the game offers some music but after a while you suddenly want to listen to more older music in a larger variety like these songs, i have been listening to everything behind my era, i was a 1990s kid, but more specifically i have been focusing on the music of the 1920s through the 1960s, i was never really into the 70s music, but some of the 80s were ok, but i really love these older songs and learning about the time period they were in.
the game i spoke of is called fallout 4, and the game pretty much creates an alternate reality of, i believe the 1920s through the 1950s era's, where the world went to nuclear war and the world collapsed into nuclear fallout for many generations, it's a Sci-Fi so it's not exactly realistic ha ha, but it has a great story none the less that is highly favored after by kids like myself.
anyway without the influence of that game, i might not have gotten any desire to go back and listen to this kind of music at all, so i owe my interest to that game for this kind of music, i did have little bits of influences to this music from other sources like Popeye the old fashioned cartoons when i was a kid or family guy when Seth McFarlin would do his classic music displays in his show in a comedic way while also bringing up political views and biases but often funny enough and entertaining enough to keep you watching for more, but really the fallout games got me into the music as a whole, because while playing the game there are parts of the game that allow you to just build and while you build your listening to some amazing oldies tracks and eventually you hear these songs enough that you start learning the lyrics to the songs and it becomes fun to pass the time, eventually you want much more variety though which is why i'm here.
now i'm using a technology that blocks the ads on youtube so that i can listen to these tracks uninterrupted for hours and hours on end, but they are less often in these longer videos over the single videos, the only problem i have is when youtube will stop the video to see if you are still there and not just playing everything continuously like i want, that's the most annoying thing that i run into, it happens more often in the shorter videos because youtube assumes your not there listening, it's an annoying thing, so it's better to find these longer completions of songs as this happens a lot less because you can play the whole video without that stupid interruption, anyway that was just some random knowledge into my situation.

This is my grandparents era, my parents couldn't understand WHY do you like the Charleston, the 1920's They liked the Big Band era Maybe I'm an 'old soul' reborn. Anything 1920's Jazz era America LOVE IT. BUT realize great place to visit(maybe) probably disappointed and shocked with reality, wouldn't want to live there. Who would want to live through a Depression and a World War?

REALLY REALLY REALLY LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MUSIC…
    However...
    PLEASE? AWWW! C'MON! REALLY?
IS TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR A PLAYLIST WITH DETAILS? GIVE THE ARTIST/S CREDIT!!! It what your content is comprised of! Without them, there'd be no you!
It is MOST IRRITATING when there's hours of video of vintage/swing with no chapters, no credits… no title, no artist, no photographs of artist, album cover, nuttin'! Butkiss! Zip! Zero! Zilch! AAARGH! C'mon. Help a fan out. Title. Artist. PHOTOGRAPHS! Chapters. Please do this for all your videos. I love vintage 20s/30s/40s ballads and ALL swing. Please. Please. Please. Do this for all aficionados of this era/genre. You will have earned a new fan when you MAKE THE TIME to add chapters with title and artist. Thank you. Dänke Schoen. Much as Gracias! Domo arigato gozaimasu! De Rien! Xie xie!

Of all choices of possible first songs. This discusting horseshit is the best they could find. Gee. Listening to someone tapdance. Its insufferable to watch nonetheless to listen to. For the record after the first few bad choices the rest isnt nearly as painful.
