Actually the world wasn't really a much better place at all. But in truth, it wasn't all that much worse either. The political difficulties we are currently going through is actually remarkablly similar to the twenties at least in terms of the unregulated free market and the vast contrast between the rich and the poor. I mean, that's not to say that nostalgia isn't a pleasant emotion that is worth evoking. I celebrate you feeling good thanks to listening to any type of music.
My parents played many of these tunes on the piano when I was a kid. Love the 20's and 30's music, it makes me remember those wonderful Sunday afternoons in our parlor. 💃🕺

Wonderful collection of 20s songs. I have all these recordings and phonographs of the day, many are on my channel. Sometimes its nice to sit and hear them without all the standing and cranking. Thanks for this upload.
Love the 1920’s Photo and Model. If you can, find another posed subject from another period setting. It’s great. Now, I can play these though my iPad and Bluetooth speakers in my 1929 Model A on car trips. Thanks!

It’s fine to look fondly to the past, but dont believe that you would enjoy it. You have so many toys to-day that you would be without back then. It is easy to romanticise certain eras of the past, but with your knowledge of to-day, you would be thoroughly miserable in the 20s.
Unless of course your joy comes not from modern gadgets but the Holy Spirit, simple living and good old fashioned civility and company. Like, I don't even use sugar or other sweeteners, which, of course, they had way back when. I feel fully confident I would be equally happy here and in the 1920s. Unrelated, my parents were adolescents in the 1920s; I enjoy what of that rubbed off on me.
