    Excellent video. I was in the US Army reserves in 1986 and went to Grenada as part of the US military. A few of us soldiers were walking in downtown St George's in uniform when a brother drove by and yelled "Yankee go home!". That was a rude awakening for me. For me, it was a wakeup call because, no matter what my political ideology was, I was wearing the uniform of imperialism and that brother saw me not as another brother, but as a tool of imperialism, which I was. Along with the Haitian and Cuban revolutions, the Grenada revolution is a milestone in the history of African people in the Americas.

      @@akken2112 I am now studying the life of this great man.. .. also same Imperialism shi8t done in Africans countries.. All he wanted was to liberate his people... it real irritating seeing our people leaving these shores to join US and British Amry,, How stupid can we bp be sometimes, ,in essence fighting against our own l8beration .

    • @akken2112
      @akken2112 Год назад +1

      @@hillieduvalier I agree with you but, I think a lot of people join the military to get out of poverty. Hopefully, if someone joins the US or British military, its only for a short time. There are a lot of revolutionary folks who served in the US military, thank goodness they didn't stay in long enough to retire, but they did serve. If you're only in for a few years, it's easy to get out of that imperialist mentality, if one were to stay in long term, they would have to adopt that mentality. It's sort of like a black cop who retires as a cop, more than likely he has accepted and adopted white supremacy wholeheartedly.

      @@dr.vsrevolutionwillnotbepe405 I am not grenadian, neither do I know if you are! But I would think that the goverment of Grenada would be the one to approach, or the American embassy there. I don't, now how much you can do, but I certainly would try.
      To allow America to murder such a eautiful man for no good reason breaks my heart, when I thi k about it. I have not heard any one in Grenada requesting to know where this man's body was place along with the others.
