For those of you, who cannot understand why Rain never made a sequel to 'Ninja Assassin'. Rain actually talks about his reasons in the end of the video made about the MTV Badass Award he won for this movie. Rain has to be one of the most criminally underrated actors I've ever seen. I find him to be very believable in the role as Raizo, and I'm incredibly impressed with how dedicated he was during his training for the film. It makes me wish that I could see him in more mainstream movies.

NETFLIX should pick up where the movie left off and continue the story line of the 9 clans with Rain of course as the lead role. He embodied the role extremely well!

When I first saw Ninja Assassin it became a favorite of mine so I immediately looked up Rain. To my surprise, I was shocked that he was just a Korean Pop star and not a martial artist because he did extremely well. Very very impressive and I admire his discipline and motivation.

Dude's a popstar and a Kdrama comedian before this. I thought I wouldn't be able to take him seriously being in this kind of movie. Boy I was so wrong.

The discipline and the easy memorization of steps for fighting scene comes from the training he already got from having to become a kpop star. Determination, discipline, training hours with no end, ability to remember choreography, its all because he is already used to it. KPOP stars don't have it easy, honestly. They go through a lot. Like its not even funny. Rain is a talented guy and I'm so happy other people recognized it too.
Thank you for your wonderful comment about Rain. I have been promoting Rain for a few years now, and while he may have been a Kpop star in the beginning, his music has evolved through the years and has long since been classified as versatile, with classification in R&B, Hip Hop, etc. I felt it necessary to mention this because Rain is so much more than any Kpop star. His talent is very diverse with both his music and his acting, it is difficult to place him in any single category. Cheers _Shari R :)

That is not entirely true. It really has little to do with being a Korean entertainer. This is a personal ability of Rain's aka Jung Ji-hoon. Rain has the ability and the personal drive to remember complicated choreography. This is why he is a good dancer & actor. Also, Rain practiced martial arts before he made Ninja Assassin. Because Rain has the ability to learn quickly, and to remember complicated sequences, is why they wanted him for Ninja Assassin. They had heard about him from his role in the movie Speed Racer. By the way, Rain is not a Kpop star. Rain is so much more than that. His musical range is very diverse, and his music traverses many genres (e.g. R&B, Korean Soul, Rock, Blues, New Age, etc.). It would be more correct to refer to Rain as a Korean World Entertainer.

I CANNOT believe it took me so long to realise that Rain was in Ninja Assasins! I loved this movie as a child and watched it with my brother every time it was on TV. I am SHOOK! My appreciation for him has reached a whole new peak. Dayum Rain! Saranghaeyo oppa❤️
It’s funny because I knew Rain as a big ass pop star, with heavy MJ and Usher influences. This was back when I was living in Indonesia. I was so shocked to see him act in an American movie and speaking English as well. I was happy he was getting exposure in the west even tho he made a TRL appearance on MTV.. man time flies..

I wish he'd made more of films like this. He's 11 years older now. He's still in great shape, but I wonder if he'd be up for that kind of training again.

This movie came out too early in time where people couldn't fully appreciate it for what it was and weren't ready to appreciate RAIN!!! hskajdhsajs He DESERVES MORE RECOGNITION IN HOLLYWOOD

I remembered seeing this about 7 or 8 yrs ago in cinema, and gushing about it at work the next day. My Chinese coworker told me that Rain was actually a K-Pop star. Only within the last couple of years or so, did I realize how big of a deal K-Pop and K-Movies are! Well done Koreans, Well done! Love ya♥

For those of you who don't really know much about Bi....he's one hell of a great singer and dancer....and absolutely wonderful in a comedy...AND....when he was in the army, he was so physically fit that he was given the task of training the other soldiers during their "exercise" period.
Criminally underrated film. One of the best martial arts films in history IMO.

I watched this movie when it first came out several years ago. When I saw I could rent it on Netflix, I watched it over and over. I just loved this movie and Rain is the perfect specimen lol Admire his dedication.

Watching this makes me actually appreciate the film more, especially the protagonist. He has put some much dedication, willpower, and hard work into this film for our entertainment. I applaud you, Rain.

Ninja assasin was one of the best action movie i've ever watched and it's all because of Rain. He's just amazing, other action movies mostly their fighting scene seems fake or just weak, but Rain did his job very well in this movie. I'm dying to watch the sequel if possible but unfortunately its not there. His act seems so real that I could even believe that he's a real ninja if someone lied to me lol 😂

Both Action directors David Leitch and chad stahelski have come a long way especially with the John wick Franchise, hopefully in the future they revisit ninja assassin or turn it in to a franchise.

@@jaziahwilson3974 Like I said, Jung Ji-hoon is one of a kind. I have never before followed any other entertainer. Ji-hoons is my first and my last. In all my long years, I have never seen anyone like him, and will never again in my lifetime. I am happy to have lived long enough to share his light with the world, and to see him happily married with a family of his own.
