Finally a good video with great information. This video is really informative, thanks mane. And definitely can tell you from LA! I’m from the east side of LA! I’m trying to get one of these for Xmas.
I appreciate that you gave your height and weight! Im a similar height/build so it helped me choose what size to get when buying a used jacket off of Ebay!
Hello, I am thinking about two Schott models, one has a belt and the other does not. What opinion do you have about the belt? thank you so much. The models are LCICON2 and LC1440ICON. Thank you so much.
@@canem1086 what’s up! I think the belt delivers a different “look” and vibe to an outfit. In my opinion the jacket without the belt (LC1440icon) is cleaner and “dressier”, allowing you to wear that jacket with more variety of outfit types. If this was my first perfecto I would get without the belt but that’s me! If you love the look of the belt go for it. Both of those jackets are great. Good luck my man!
Yo! I see what you mean..mmm it may be the belt buckle weighing it down a bit or the jacket not sitting properly on the body.. it's a great jacket and looks good on most people I've seen rock it.
Love the short cut of your "Cafecto". Is it just me or it in size 36 and your next one from Sweden in size XS(36 Too) has a longer lebgth? Im looking for short cut ones
@@yardenl1998 yes, you’re correct. The Cafecto has a 24” back length vs the 519 right after, which has a back length of 25.75”. If you’re looking for a short one I recommend the Cafecto or 118 for a classic Perfecto. Good luck!
Have you tried leather jackets from Japan like Y'2 leathers or Double Helix. I have several from each brand and feel those are very good quality leather jackets and great fit for slim build types. I also have four Schott Perfectos but don't wear the double rider style as often and plan to sell some.
@@Kobeisthegoat88 wassup dude? Yeah I have handled them but never owned any. I agree with you the quality is very nice. Addict Clothes, Fine Creek, Real McCoys, list goes on.. I love a good teacore tanning treatment too which I think the Japanese do best.
Hey! Congrats! Great video! You put a lot of interesting information in it. Really cool jackets, and good ideas to use them. 👌 I just bought a 618 perfecto, size 36, but i'm considering to change it for a 34 size, for i think that when the leather breaks it'll fit much better on me. May i ask what's your height? Just to get an idea on how a 34 fits. Thanks for sharing!
@@Fin-r6p haha, nice! Mmm if I had to pick two I’d say the 118 since it’s timeless and can be passed on for generations easily and 626 pebbled cow- super easy to wear with everything since it’s so clean without the epaulets, no belt, etc.
@@petergreen1994 I work in the fashion industry and have a coworker that does it in the sewing room..I would look for a leather tailor around your area; they are more prevalent than people think.
Nice seeing the jackets man! Any advice on how to find a slim fitting one for my size? I bought a size small 626 VN, I actually got really lucky and copped another size small 626VN for literally $40 at a thrift shop which is insane, I plan to sell it and get a new one. I'm 172cm (5'8) and I weigh about 125 lbs. I'm pretty skinny, measured my chest and it's 34 inch. Makes me wonder how to get a cropped look, are these jackets about being taller, or is it more weight based? the small 626vn feels too big on me, the sleeves are down to my knuckles and it goes past my belt line. I'm thinking is it logical to get a Size 32 Schott 613 or does it make more sense to get my chest size at 34, or size up at 36. I have no idea, I noticed all these fitted you perfectly even the size 34, and you're 6'0, I'm only 5'8 lol
@@xzCochise it’s not really about being tall imo, it’s about how you want to style them. Boxy cropped vs slim+tight rocker, etc. although yes, sleeves hitting your knuckles is not great. I’m a 36/38 chest depending if that helps. The 626vn in small def is too big for you since it fits me well in that size. I’d say check out the 613 and 618 in 32 and start from there. I would email Schott and they will quickly provide measurement charts for inquired models so you can compare to other jackets you want it to fit like. Just find a jacket in your closet that you want your Schott to fit like and write down the chest shoulder, length, etc measurements to compare to schott’s chart. A little big is fine too for layering in the winter if that’s your style.
Child bearing hips lol. Dude only women have child bearing hips try not to ever say that again. It drops major points in the manhood department if you like women and dont want the alphas hearing you say that. That being said nice jackets bro!
