I put 2 High Alerts in mine to turn creatures like arresters and spirit of the spires into offensive threats, as well as running Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer for a secondary flying oriented Planeswalker. I also just ordered some spectral sailors to put in it as well. But yeah I was surprised at how similar the changes I made to my deck were to the ones you put, right down to cards like depose // deploy and the counterspells. just recently got into this game too, so I guess I must be on the right track lol
Those are some good ideas, actually! Mu Yanling is a cool new addition. Hope the deck does well for you! Also, welcome to Magic. Please join our Discord to chat more about it: discord.gg/DPTGvNu
I sure do! www.patreon.com/posts/24693611/ If you get into my $1 Patreon you get access to the full upgraded deck list of this and every other Planeswalker video I do. What a deal!
For the same mana cost you could play Citywide Bust instead of Bring to Trial. I believe it’s better better because it destroys all creatures with toughness of 4 or greater
Good point. Citywide Bust needs more devotion to White mana, sure, but it can wipe a battlefield of big creatures. The problem, though, is that it's a Rare, and I'm focused on Common/Uncommon cards. It's not too expensive, though. Thanks!
You forgot to mention that the Elite Arresters can tap creatures as well with their mana ability. I've got a question for you, is it possible to play more than one verity circle on the battlefield and therefore pull two cards at a time?
That's a good point about the Elite Arrester. Thanks for the reminder. As for Verity Circle, you can have up to four on the battlefield, because they are not Legendary, and each will work!
How about going for a more control aspect I'm going to put up my version on my RUclips channel and I'll link it to you if you want to look at it and see what you think mine is a little different is not focusing on Ravnica Allegiance it has some other stuff in there in like something some from time spiral some from guilds I'll do the Deck Tech in a little
Cool, sure! I try to brew with more stipulations, since, when you have the full breadth of Modern it can be overwhelming for new players. Link when you've got your version, for sure. 👍
Possibly. You have to ask yourself, however: What is the meta of my FNM group? If they are very competitive, this deck might struggle. If they are more casual, this deck could work. Oftentimes, unfortunately, an FNM is "good" because they have "good" cards, which really means "expensive" cards. I usually make these upgrades for people on a budget, so I focus on Common and Uncommon cards. The expensive cards are Rare and Mythic Rare cards. I would suggest trying out the deck with more casual people first to get a feel for it, and then move up to more power users. 👍

Mind I suggest that you include the upgraded decklist in the descriptions? :)

Nice. Thanks for sharing! I like the addition of Azor and more Planeswalkers.
is it possible to focus on the tap control?
Do you mean spells that tap your opponent's permanents?
@@vmcampos yes, and win the game, i tried to build it around time of ice, but it didn't work
Let me think about it and see what I come up with. I think Deputy of Detention works well.
will this work in fnm
