I was thinking the same every time we got to the end of a row it was like watching him turn a tractor on FS lol and the first person cam view.. only let down was that he didn't do the headlands 🤣
The graphics on this game just got pretty fuckin awesome! How much did you sell the grass for? Also i love this map but that flicker is still totally there
@@Daggerwin I like it when ytbers don't do face reveals as I think it ruins the "magic" of it, IE as it makes the viewer not be able to see the person in their head as they see them. But keep up the good work!! Looking forward to the next video!
Yes (and no). I got one, had it for 3-5 years. Really handy, very light weight (on hand carry), not silent but soundless enough to mow the lawn at nigh if you like(a bit more silent than your Stiga), and the 40V battery is enough to get around my area (if the gras not to wet or long, i got very lush thick grass on one side and long "natural" grass on the other mixed with very thick grass). Washing is easy, just flip it around as you please, no oil to worry about. Drawback is of course not as powerful as an combustion engine.
My husband has been enjoying the EGO lawn tools. He has the push mower and several attachments for the multi tool. He's been really enjoying it. So much so he asked for the snow blower for Christmas. We've found if you end up wanting batteries it tends to be cheaper to buy them with the tool.
That mower is nice but for an electric the noise rivals what I prefer to use the petrol pushers. Having used electric pushers they are nice especially for times of day you can use them without disturbing neighbors. But the only fact that truly matters is if your satisfied with that mower and its quality of mowing.
I have an electric mower (not this one) and my favorite item in the "pro" column is how quiet it is. I can mow in the early mornings or evenings without worrying about disturbing my neighbors
Lol I was just going to post this, I can't wait until they are more popular, way less noise and the automatic ones are pretty badass as well. Going to be crazy to see what they're like in say 10 years from now.
I have a manual push Snapper. Mine came with a 48v battery and charger for $400 plus. I love it and pairs nicely with my weed wacker. Need a leaf blow now of the same brand. Yours seem pretty nice. Never picked up leaves before. Planned on it but work laziness interfered.
Wow, this "lawnmower" video caught my attention! As a fellow lawn enthusiast, I understand the struggle of finding the perfect lawnmower. But guess what? I finally discovered the Segway Navimow robotic lawnmower, and it's a game-changer! With its innovative technology and lack of perimeter wires, it offers convenience and efficiency like no other brand. Trust me, give Segway Navimow a try, and you'll be amazed by the results.
I've seen a lot of these. I like the idea, but prefer tools that run on a 2-stroke, a lawn mower electric isn't a bad idea. Just not a chainsaw, weed Wacker, etc. Love the different video Daggerwin!
11:57 Water wont do any damage to any circuit if you just remove those batteries. Nice mower. We have a honda miimo, Wihch is a robot lawnmower and it has been awesome. Great video.
well daggerwin, one thing that might help with the kind of swath thing it is leaving is that if you mow a three quarter or half width of the mower if that makes sense. one thing ive found out with mowing ahaha. saves going over it twice :)
damn i was just looking at some electric lawnmowers and this video came just in time i think i might just take the plunge and get it, i got fed up with maintenance of the engine and had quite a bit of bad luck with them lately thanks for the informational video
I personally would stick to gas powered because they’re super simple and therefore easy to diagnose if something broke plus they have a lot more power and are cheaper
Love the video. When you said what you paid I was a bit surprised. It’s quite a bit higher than what I paid in the US for a similar model a number of years ago. However when I looked up that model price now I’m finding it is about $900 usd. So similarly priced for the times.
I have a “GreenWorks Pro” electric mower and it is the same to the Stiga but it did not have the ECO button and you can’t tell if the bag is full and it has a simple blade but it is pretty much the same. Like the video great job 👍
I got one, it is a Kobalt mower. I like it, just wish the batteries were cheaper...or had a longer run time. I admit, my yard is probably too big for the battery push mower and should use a riding mower but I don't have thousands of dollars for one. I kind of wish we would get more electric machines in FS22..
In the near future I’ll be needing a mower for my lawn. Nothing too big and with petrol prices and the solar panels we’re getting it will be electric. Though not an ideal option the price of a mower with a cord compared to a battery model might come out on top for me. But nevertheless this has given me some great insight 👍🏻
@@ElParedro you are correct and it seems like i lived in the past for a bit. The last factory in Sweden was dismounted and moved to Italy in 2013. Very strange decision thou as the factory in Tranås had the highest earnings of all the factories. 🤷
Nice review! I just have to raise a technicality though, at 11:40 where you're talking about cleaning the mower - you say electricity and water don't mix, well in fact they mix extremely well. They get on like a house on fire! 🤣
Hi Dagger, great review. I'm really hoping to see more on the Machinery Restorer. I was wondering if you could do things like Qualcast roller mowers, or strimmer's and chainsaws, just for more content. I'd love to see you finish the full restore on the Rare Mini Tractor. Thanks Dagger, Keep'em coming.
A very comprehensive video ad thanks for your review. Can I check what are your views about EGO LM2135E-SP 52CM SELF-PROPELLED MOWER. These are two final choices I have zeroed down to and any guidance here will be appreciated.
We have a Ryobi Battery mower but after about 12 months the battery died and a replacement was nearly the price of the mower itself luckily I was able to find a no name brand that fitted the mower at quarter the price of an original ryobi battery
I have the 80v kobalt version. We have had it for years and have had great luck with it thus far. Bought it in 2018, wife uses it close to the house, and in the ditch now that we have some property.
I wished there is a viable option for a ride on mower here in the states. We have options, but, i live on rolling hills with level sections. But i have 7 plus acres to mow.
Yeah! there the wave of the future. You'll be waving your first after the batteries are shot after 2-3 years and you see the cost of new ones. Always check cost of replacing batteries because you will be sooner than later.
@Daggerwin as you know from the contents of your own channel you can fix an old 20 year old lawn mower tractor but there is nothing you can do about a 20 year old battery that wont take charge anymore and is leaking acid.
They are great little mowers but EV has always been ok for single person s/m yard use even for the old corded versions as well especially now that most people would not know how or that they should rebuild a carb or clean plugs, change oil or even to oil bearings on a gas. sure the batteries and motor are gonna fail after some years but most things have a 2-5 year shelf life anymore but that is how long most items can go without neglect killing them without basic maintenance being done anyways.
Is it the future? Ten years ago I would have been a lot more skeptical. Since then I have become a bit of a Dewalt collector. I have a battery string trimmer and a battery chainsaw. Not to mention a complete workshop full of Dewalt battery tools including heated jackets for me and my wife...The biggest downside to battery is still length of charge. It takes me just over an hour to cut my yard with a gas push mower. I don't want to split that into two or even three sessions and while I have a LOT of dewalt batteries so I can just change them out the price does add up. A lawnmower would require different batteries and charger...Still, I am now completely open to the idea whereas ten years ago...not so much. I would prefer an electric, but my gas mowers (Troybuilt rider and push) still have a lot of life left in them.
Little bit curious why you posted this on your gaming channel and not your restorer channel Daggerwin. Great video though...not sure we can get this mower here in Canada...and if we could it would be far to expencive here to be worth while.
Machinery Restorer is strictly for restorations. Daggerwin is for gameplay and reviews. I did do quite a lot of reviews on this channel once but stopped. I am planning on doing many more reviews soon
Ohh hey Daggerwin...if you'd like to check out a restoration go over to Just a Few Acres Farms channel he is currently restoreing and old Farmall Super C and has also restored a Farmall H thats a gas starting and diesel running tractor over the past 3 winters...he had it running but it dropped a valve this past summer while rakeing his hay feild. Its pretty cool to watch and his narration kinda reminds me of you but with an american accent 😂
how many years do you think these will last tho ? I see them as a throw away item. As I have a wheel horse mower from 1968 and is still working fine. I can not see these lasting that long.
honestly, until the energy density issue with batteries vs a tank of fuel is sorted, i don't see the point. further more, most people forget or don't even know that most of the worlds energy that comes from a wall outlet is still produced from fossil fuels. not to mention these modern plastic machines aren't that great for the environment either as plastic is just bad and rarely disposed of and/or recycled properly. keeping in mind, electronics in general are just expensive points of failure. why would we want more points of failure in our lives? personally, im still not sold on electric/digital anything. im only 37 and grew up in early days of this junk. i feel it's just the next big global scam really. ...and on the point of a gas/petrol mower folding and storing vertically, i have one. its a Toro 21386 (at least in Canada anyways)
It takes me longer to get the mower ready than it does cut the grass front an back lol 40 mins that's like 6-8 weeks per charge for me, £1k tho over a 50 buk plug an go ???
