The context about South Africa is based on an evil government of apartheid who violently took land and oppressed 50 million black people in South Africa because of the colour of their skin...
The word is a Muslim word. Derived from "kaffir" meaning "unbeliever" .Ghandi used it to describe the black south Africans , after visiting south Africa. ... I watched "Karine Alourde Biographies" . The whites learnt it from the Muslims, as they called them bandiete. Therefore bandiet should be a racist word as well. Fair is fair.
yes. I wonder then what you would think of those who have, actually, planned out and implemented the most violent, genocidal and inhumane system in the world for over 100 years...and still beneficiaries of that system by every conceivable metric today. what do you think of those people? oh yes, I know your answer its in the past, and present whites have nothing to do with it. I wonder then why germany is still paying reparations for the jewish holocaust. you should be ashamed of your comment, but i know you wont be.
The utterances were not racist if you look at the context. RG is asking the question, 'how would you feel if someone called you that'? This in reaction to the "kill the Boer' chant sung as a struggle song, a struggle long over and chanted by people too young to know.
The White people as the oppressors and the creators of the K-word and N-word, are not allowed to say it whether in a positive or negative manner. He could have just said " Kill the black man" and continued to make his point. He meesed up big time. Don't try to excuse his stupidity.
Justification for horrible language. When I read these type comments I really regret voting for the DA. Inability to see wrong and try to justify is really sad. Comparison being a thief of joy is worse because you want to be part of 99% instead of saying I am the 1% my standards are high and will not tolerate nonsense.
@@tsebosei1285 You just want to be the victim again, I get it. But read my lips. It's been taken out of context. When I hear people call for my killing and the killing of my people, you know what I think?
But Malema can call for the genocide of Afrikaners and get off scott free? People have literally been murdered thanks to Zuma and Malema's little "struggle song" that they STILL SING. Gouws said some unsavoury words 16 years ago, and nobody has died from it. This country is a bloody joke. I'm not defending Gouws, he has it coming. What I'm demanding is equal treatment. Boot out Malema too, his type is not welcome here.
Malema was taken to court and won. The trial on RUclips. Let’s see if this guy can also defend himself against the same legal minds and against the same standards and if he wins he wins
You can not legislate social cohesion. I am not a fan of fining and arresting people for their believes and opinions. I personally believe he is a racist, because he actually called for the deletion of a group of people, purely due to race. I don't care what age you are, that doesnt excuse it. Sure when I was younger, I had some socially unacceptable beliefs, and have grown out of them, due to exposure, to various groups of people. For example, I had a parent who would always tell me, the small hat people(people in conflict with Palestine), are thieves, crooks, and only care about themselves. But straight out of highschool, I had a boss from that community and worked with a lot of people within that community. I was treated with nothing but kindness, and I also made a lot of mistakes at the workplace, where I personally think I should of been fired, yet I never was, and all they did was pour more into me. So that taught me a big lesson, people are individuals, and a lot of our beliefs, are just passed down ignorance. Life is a contact sport, sure listen to people on the bench, but don't take their word as gospel, experience it for yourself.

@@tshiamooriel5113 you obviously haven't watched Gouws' full video either. Had you watched it you would know that there is nothing racist about what he said. But hey, keep believing what others tell you.
Its origins is from the Muslim labour force that was brought to SA by the Dutch. They would refer to anybody that was not Muslim, by the K-word, which in Arabic means non-Believer or Pagan. But the Dutch descendants, just turned it into a racial thing, and used it as a derogatory slur for people of African descent.
