There are many ways to protect tender exotic plants in winter, in this video I show you which methods I use to protect my tropical plants in winter. The tropical plants I need to over winter are my Canna, Ensete maurelii banana and Colocasia.

Fantastic channel. Love your videos and great advice! I have a few Ensete banana plants in pots. Is it ok to to cut back the leaves and just move the pots into our garage over winter? Its dry and frost free. Just wondering if they will survive or if I need to take them out of the pots and dry them. Thanks!
