hello nekone, it`s too much to ask but could you also make a video where the equips are in midrange ? especially the knight class coz that`s what I chose to play.... I really liked your videos it is so informative and helpful for people like me that is still struggling about this game... I hope ur channel will grow more so that you can help more toram players....
Words of advice for newbies who are like me, hate grinding and still want to have decent dmg to fight the monsters. Refer to nekone's videos to understand more. Use your character slot wisely. You will have at least 3 slot to build your character, you should have 1 lvling build, 1 farming/grinding build, and 1 dps build. Lvling build is meant for clearing main quest and lvl up using the exp and also to bridge the gap until lv 150, by running through the current whole main quest (chap 1-12/13) you will get to around lv 205 which unlocks a lot of dps builds. Lvling build shold have good atk spd, mana recovery (mana charge or ampr), good atk, and can tank a few hits. I would suggest knuckle or 1hs/2hs, knuckles for atk spd, ampr, evasion, and pre-150 dmg. 1hs/2hs for dmg, ampr, a lot of buff, and a lot of meta/endgame build depends on it. Farming build is for grinding since you will need money to buy equipments, note that farming build is not that good for clearing main quest. Farming build must have aoe skill, mana recovery and luk stat. I would suggest luk mage, luk bow, and luk halberd. Luk mage for mana charge and basic aoe skill. Luk bow for ampr, damaging aoe skill for higher lvl monster. Luk halberd for high dmg aoe skill. Only use luk halberd when your dps build is also halberd to save inventory slot, otherwise just build luk mage or luk bow. Dps build is for late game since after lv 150 only then you will have most dps skill unlocked. Dps build need two things, dmg and mana recovery. I will suggest bow, mage, 1hs/2hs for new players and katana, halberd, dual sword for veteran players. Bow and mage have long range, 1hs/2hs have short range but tank more hits. They also cost less to have high dmg. Katana, halberd and dual sword on the other hand is hard to play even though they have high dmg skill. Katana need to counter atk to have dmg, halberd have no defense and no ampr, dual sword have long animation and split dmg (means lesser burst dmg). They need experience to play. Tips for the game, just suggestion, don't follow necessarily. Buy the highest dmg weapon and some other equipments at the beginning of the game at consignment board. Buy unity tiara for a lot of mp and time warp watch for 1000 atk spd to cancel cooldowns between atk. After lv 150, you can just farm for money and buy materials for making npc equipments. And if you have a lot of money (1 million ++), you can just shout at sofia city to ask other players to make meta equipments. Also search for website coryn club for information on basically everything in toram.
job cons in a nutshells: OHS dagger: stay behind boss, sometimes boss will throwing ball or blue AOE randomly so stay alert, you step on red quick AOE, just pray to Kazuki he let you stand still. DW: really high MP demand even have high ampr, if you build it wrong and have low ampr, you fuck up. (low dmg=you will need hella good stat equipment soon) halb: slow ass animation skill, need 2k ASPD at minimum smooth movement, don't get me wrong.. you can play this job as you please and get stronger as you level up, but also you have to suffer at the beginning for highest dmg dps job. (my main dps rn) mages: slow ass mp charge casting, just remember the mob/boss AOE before casting, unless you know what you do. (pretty hard to get party in early ngl, but enjoy your journey, this is my first job) knucks: actually I'll toss an advice, don't listen the other who judge your low dmg, but really.. don't make the party prorate got fuckup with your spamming playstyle😄(you better train ur finger at gym lol) katana: actually this is the most mechanical gameplay ever, if you have slow brain.exe I will never recommend this job for you. (trust me bro, skill animation is A tier, but the gameplay really based on your capabilities..) 2H : got nothing to say rly, I've tried this job long time ago, really fun, but not for the aggro, tankers might losing aggro at early, and it has expensive equipment even for the low "good" stat. knight : not all bosses can be struck with ailments, if you face them, you have to turn on your def mode. bow: the best for early. but also the worst for higher up bosses since it low dmg dps, I recommend you t build another dps when you got the feeling after playing this game for a while. (my 2nd dps job rn) it just the cons on early, don't get me wrong and be afraid of it, just play whatever job you want. And I prefer you to play with friends or companion during your Main quest.
Ive been playing this game for years and have watch your content for so long and yet the quality of your vids just keeps on getting better and as always useful for beginners, congrats!

Knux falls off a bit, sure but later on asura+rush more than makes up for it, one of the easiest to use builds is asura+rush combo spam, surprisingly good dmg, mix in some goliath punch (ampr is a non issue, at 2k mp use all up, deactivate asura, let it use up all stacks to get back to max mp, repeat) All in all great ranking, just wanted to point out knux makes a comeback
on a newbie standpoint this ranking is still on point but ofc everything changes when we get to t4 and t5 respectively 😅 P.S.: bow really saved my ass back then when i was starting back then 😅🤣
Watching these kind of reviews for newbie jobs remind me of my first day playing toram. And playing blindly at that 😅 As a result, my first char is horrendous 🤣
This looks quite good. I agree that Bow is the strongest starter. None of their main DPS skill from lower tier are wasted: Bulleyes and Arrow rain from T2, Snipe from T3, CF from T4. All are still useful until endgame. Also Bow don't use many SP, so it's not the end if built slightly wrong. Not many classes have such smoothy route.
Heya! I've been watching all your T3 skill tree guides and I must say that you're immensely underrated! Watching them has helped me learn and determine which skills would generally be good for which weapon to use and for which situation while giving clear instructions on how to reach the damage you showed. Easily understandable and nicely shown in the videos so that it doesn't get boring. Please continue to make these amazing videos and perhaps you could also consider making guides for special fun builds that aren't damage focused? Like a full support or a sustain god, or any fun build you might have in mind that doesn't have to be full dps but is very fun to use! Keep up the goodwork ;3
Thank you~ Right now, I'm currently focusing on the newbie builds but I may just consider making fun builds in the future considering I made those before 😀
I am biased: I go 2H with max STR (or highest possible). Although I started as a Sunshine Luck Archer, I would still probably start with either a 2H or OHS at least. Good damage and usually swords have some stats on it that improves survivability.
The good old days when even fu classes were still a thing, nowadays very few people still mix around with knuckle as sub when using a sword/bowgun/staff, pity that almost everytime the most fun classes are forgotten
I got knuckles as a subclass to one of my extra characters. I just really liked the idea and potential of fighting someone using a spear and they suddenly lunge and uppercut you so hard you almost get knocked out. Might not be efficient but it is fun to me, I also have a mage ninja
i think Knux with triple kick as main dps then goliath after charge can do better on your ranking, since you can put out dps while charging goliath then use shellbreak as ender for mp management u can use 1 mp combo as well (slide>breath(save)>Triplekick(smite)>shellbreak(cons)) for long fight
Lvl130 cap has 156 skill points (no emblem) you can drop the passives and support skill at this stage (battle and support) since you can still get it later once you lvled up more usince your still early lvl i dont think u will stay at 130 as much. martial skills such as shellbreak and triple kick are also pre requisites of the future skills for martial (chariot abstract rush and asura) which u wont needing to reset further unlike when you rely on crusher too much for future upgradability i think utilities are more important than high dmg in that early game
For me 1hs is top one on no lv4 skill. I alredy try bow paralysys snipe build and comparing it to low budget build 1hs shield revenir build is more dps than my low budget bow. You need to invest a bit to make same dps but, yeah bow is good too because you can play safe.
