James is super funny and a great teacher. Great game.
"I think we know enough to be dangerous" is my new favorite way to start a game. :D
Thanks for the episode guys.
1:16:06 James gave Dave five points instead of Nikki by mistake.
This seems like an extremely fun game!
I really like this game. No doubt about it, the deluxe edition is beautiful, but I prefer my standard edition. The chunky wood buildings are also so well designed and have a very satisfactory feel as you play the game. I really like how it's an easy teach, easy to learn, and fast to get to the table. Another great game from Roxley.
Love this game! I love the original, Metropolys, too. Skyrise is an improvement, though. FYI - At 39:15 Dave started the auction in an invalid location as it wasn't adjacent to any other buildings.
Yeah Dave Won!!
Great playthrough! I really like this game and the building sculpts are quite amazing. I think James accidentally moved Dave's piece instead of Nikki's for one of the island controls at the end, but the outcome would have been the same! Great job :)
My autism can’t handle Dave sitting in a different spot 😂
I like how Lincoln's shirt has a badge on the right arm saying "Metropolis". Metropolys (with a 'y') is, of course, the original game this is based on. Could be a coincidence but I'd like to think it's a little Easter Egg.
Lincoln’s character was Fritz Lang, afterall :)
I'm pretty sure that was James foolery! :D
The fancy buildings are completely unnecessary but really nice, so I splurged on them. My group really likes the game.
Game note: I think there should only be 2 panorama cards.
In a two or three player game, does each player get more buildings? I feel like it would play a LOT differently with fewer players
You remove platforms with fewer players so it keeps the area control aspect of the game very tight. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
Paul A Billiams 🤣🤣🤣
Seems to go on a bit too long, but fun
Seems long for what it is.
Beautiful game. I don't need it. However, it's awfully pricey for the premium collector's edition... but I don't need that particular version... but it's sooo pretty... 😐😑 I don't need it... I don't need it... 🫣
I think you need it.... 😆
