CORN HARVEST 2023 Case IH 7088 Fendt 6335 C

Hi everyone. Today we are in Stretti, a hamlet of Eraclea, in the company of the Roman Brothers and their two combine harvesters: a Case Ih 7088 Axial Flow equipped with an 8-row Capello Diamant bar and a Fendt 6335C thresher.
We are between the months of September and October and, in these plots, white corn is being harvested.

ON WHITE CORN:
Less known than the traditional yellow corn. It is an ancient cereal, a variety with a delicate flavour, naturally gluten-free and rich in beneficial properties. Satiating and particularly versatile, white corn is very widespread in Latin America where it is widely used in traditional preparations; the cob is thin and tapered with small grains from which a flour with a white color and a gentle taste is obtained. Imported into Europe after the discovery of America, white corn has over time been supplanted by the yellow variety and hybrid seeds, which are more advantageous in terms of yield and production; in Italy, the cultivation of this cereal is defended by courageous Venetian farmers, in particular in the provinces of Padua, Verona, Treviso and Venice, so much so that, precisely in these territories, it is possible to trace an indigenous variety, Bianco Perla di Piave.
Case IH 7088 Axial Flow:
The Case IH Axial Flow 7088 is a combine harvester that was produced from 2010 to 2012. This combine has a six-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 340 horsepower and weighs 15.5 tons. The dimensions of the model are 7.8 x 3.3 x 3.793 m. Production stopped in 2012, when this Axial Flow 7088 was available at a new list price of between €244,000 and €310,000. The grain tank has a capacity of 10570 litres.
Fendt 6335C:
The Fendt 6335C combine harvester is produced by the company of the same name in 4 variants:

All of them have the same 360hp power and are in the medium-high power combine class. The engine is an 8.4 liter 6-cylinder turbo diesel.
The grain tank for the 6335C and 6335C RISE models is 9000 liters while, for its twins, it stops at 8600 litres. The fuel tank is 860 litres.
The cabin is equipped with all the options to offer the driver maximum comfort, such as: air conditioning, heating, electrically adjustable and heated external mirrors, radio, reversing cameras etc...
The weight of the machine is 9 tons.
