@stinkypantsAZ Nearly all angle grinders can accept a wire cup brush. most have the same thread so they can use other accessories that you can get at nearly any home center.
I am proud owner the older model with the button on the left side ( 4.5 inches 7 amp). It`s sturdy, It`s worth every dollars it cost to me. the only thing I don`t like is the diameter of the grip, it`s a discomfort when you make a long use. Let`s say 90% of appreciation. The next grinder I will buy will be definitively a Milwaukee. Probably your 6124-30. I want 13amp, 5 inches and more comfort and power to cutting, polishing and grinding.
hi i have one like to this , when operate head's (gearbox) become very very heat . i replaced both tow ball bearing but didnt different .are you know whats problem.?
I would suspect one or two things: either a bushing is out of spec [making gear lash too tight] and/or incorrect grease. I have seen bearings on other equipment die an early death because NLGI-3 was used, when NLGI-2 was design spec. The higher the running speed, the more critical things get. I would have to check with Milwaukee to find out what they want. I've made older grinders work with a lithium based 2 to get by, but gears were already chowdered - unit tossed as soon as a replacement was in hand.
I'm torn between the Milwaukee and the Bosch. Both are very good grinders and both continue to perform perfectly in my shop.
