Can you explain the cut you do at 5:07 right after you said you found zero and the it moves to just over the chute?

How did you get dial and dial indicator oriented to the 6:00 position AFTER finding zero point? Thanks

Thanks for the high quality video, really appreciate this.
I'm wondering at 5:04 your indicator when at zero is on the bottom right position, and on 5:08 the zero point is switched to the bottom middle, I'm kind of confused which is the actual starting point as zero point?
The 5:04 point is when the burr slightly starting to move when OFF, and 5:08 is when the burr starts to make the chirping sound when ON, which indicator should I use to know that I'm zero?
    Many thanks!

Hey guys, I just recieved my DF83v2. In the instruction of the grinder, which was in the box, they tell that you should turn the top thing of the grinder clockwise until it doent move anymore and then turn it back to grind level 10. That's actually almost what you show in this video. So I guess it's always best to just set the zero point to 10 and starting from there? Then you should always have the same results in my opinion. I'm excited if it will work for me :) Hopefully this helps someone. Thanks guys!

How'd you have it so the marker was center and so close to the zero point?

Wait - the grinder has to be running when you make an adjustment?! Why?

if you go finer on any grinder, you run the risk of compressing the burrs together and clogging the burrs.

DF83 does not need to find the zero point unless you change the original burr.
