I have a handicap sister and growing up I heard the same records (vinyl) for 10 years! Now imagine if we never got tired of our first experience (like it was our first) eveytime.... I sometimes wonder if we the "normal" people aren't the handicapped ones.. Love the stories, Two thumbs..
We're watching the first stages of John's slow descent into madness, but air travel, especially being stuck in an airport for 25 hours, will do that to you.
Your last sentence is probably one of the most true statements about serving in the military. I love it. No matter what kind of crap situation you find yourself in, you can look around and find someone who is ever so slightly in worse condition. Sometimes it's just that little nugget of goodness that allows you to mentally push through. Thanks John for reminding me!
Clayton Dennis so true! But now, (as long as it's not true suffering) I still get a kick out of seeing my friends suffer a bit lol. I get butterflies in my stomach haha
The ultimate test for couples! I knew I found the right one after being stuck on a Texas highway for 34 hours during a blizzard. It was pretty miserable during the experience, but we look back and laugh about it often. Tough times are often great teachers. "Experience is something you don't have until after you need it" Safe travels, John
My son is mentally challenged and people are always saying, I feel bad for him. I'm always saying he's one of the happiest people you'll ever meet. I wish my stress level was like his! Lol.
This is true my oldest is autistic and he is happy 99% the time for no reason and even when he does get upset it usually lasts 5 sec and he is back like it never happened.
My youngest son has Down Syndrome. He spends his day spreading hugs and smiles. At the end of the day, we are all "special needs..." is just comes in different flavors.
One of the funniest videos I have ever seen! The posing on the seats was cracking me up, and picturing the ranger, slumped over, with chaw drooling out of his mouth..... I'm in tears!
Been there with Brian... I am Brian. On a Chinook over Logar province, I was so tired with some Soal in, fell asleep for about an hour. Not great... fun times! Love these stories John. Brings back some memories
John I listen to your videos for a couple of hours every morning and you are hilarious and when I needs good laugh and a spiritual lift your video fills that!! God speed Br!
That was such a great point you made about the value of those moments of suffering, or rather how little we get out of the experiences that go smoothly. A little time of discomfort can bring a lot of moments of fun and laughter for the rest of your life. It's especially helpful to have dumb friends that will provide you with selfless entertainment, like Brian.
I know your pain John! Those seats definitely aren't for sleeping. I've spent two nights in an airport after missing my flights while visiting the girl who is now my wonderful wife.
I like your videos. You have a great personality, very likeable. By the way, I've never seen anyone levitate in an airport until you. Safe travels and I hope you get rest soon.
There is a lot I will miss out on in life because of my disdain for travel, but I simply don’t have the mental fortitude for it. God bless you and safe travels
John, your videos are great! Flying Mil-Air is certainly an experience. I was an aircraft mechanic so we often flew with the aircraft full of pallets of equipment. When we landed in some sandbox somewhere, we had to be ready to execute the mission, so we learned pretty quickly that you can lash your head to the jump seats using your belt. It is quite a sight to see...thanks to digging up "fond" memories like that...good luck on the rest of your trip and God Bless!
I love these little vlogs or talks, it's not just the information you put out we enjoy watching but the guy behind it that's telling the stories, love the enthusiasm lol
John I love your stories and the way you tell them. Your story reminded me of a TDY to Alaska some 30 yrs ago. Keep up the great work you do with the videos and your mission in life. With respect brother.
John! I’ve had a horrible airport day too! I thought I had it bad until I watched your video. Haha! I never travel/fly and the odds that you would release this video makes me feel that this was made for me. 5 hrs of sleep doesn’t sound so bad now. Thank you for making my night/morning so much better.
I feel your pain, John. I am a professional pilot and have spent many hours and days stuck in airports. I once even spent the night just outside the terminal building with all of the homeless people in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Had me laughing throughout this video! Love your stories and your attitude. You're setting a great example for how people should react to inconvenient situations. God bless you dude!
John, your optimism level is phenomenal brother. As a driver you see some stuff while driving but keeping a positive attitude sure does help. Great channel and excellent teachings. Keep up the good work.
20 years in the airline industry. I’ll tell you that being in an airport long enough brings on a sort of psychosis you can’t get anywhere else. Hope to see you on a flight one day. Good vid.
The combat landing into KAF i was asleep, with a dip in. When I suddenly awoke to the lack of gravity, my dip was ALL the way in... my stomach... which was in my throat. RIP Copenhagen, you will not be forgotten.
I remember a terrible bus drive to football camp last year. Jeez. It was about 6 hours I believe, from Buckeye AZ to Bisbee. 100+ degrees. Our tire blew about half an hour into the drive. Then we had to sit there, right off the freeway, for an extra hour. Making it a seven hour trip. Then about 15 minutes into waiting for the tire to be fixed our AC went out for the rest of the trip. Also I had the seat no one wanted... The seat right above the tire. The whole team was cramped, angry, and sweating lol. It sucked but it made for a pretty good story.
Sorry about your horrendous delay, but your stories were great! Good way to pass some time! You should definitely make a "Story Time with John" series. What ever the topic :)
The DR is an awesome place. I spent two years there on a mission for my church. Absolutely loved every minute and the people are incredible. Have the "bandera" for me. I miss Dominican rice and beans.
we need more of the ukulele woman! and that trip where you were in the back of the plane was when you flew to Missouri last year for pistol 3 and rifle 2
I love the sleep stories. My most memorable sleep deprived story was when a dude was so exhausted he took a pull off his spitter bottle instead of his water bottle. Heinous!
I feel for you brother. Had a 'similar' experience flying from Providence to Sydney via San Fran. United lost my luggage, originally had a 4 hr layover that turned into 12...and then there was a mixup with my seat on the 16 hour flight and I had the joy of sitting between 2 'fairly large' travelers for those 16 very painful hours. Glad you were able to joke about it and shoot the video.
John, that was just a great, light-hearted video. You've seen some interesting things in your life, that's for sure. I wish you the very best on your Missions trip. Thank you for what you do.
My wife and I had to spend the night in Buenos Aires airport on two separate locations. Fortunately, seats in gate area were accommodating, and we cable locked our bags. "Slept" with one eye open. Quite an experience.
That was epic! A Spec-Op attitude: if you don't mind it don't matter!! Humor is a must, civilians don't understand that aspect of intense operations. What a great video, well done!! I remember my fight to the sandbox, the long way around! You Da Man!
You should give that girl a free class! She did a great job with her song.
Always good to see you laughing at your misery. You gotta do more war stories with John. Man, those were a blast to watch and they were always a hoot.
Seriously. More war stories...or any stories, really.
I have a handicap sister and growing up I heard the same records (vinyl) for 10 years! Now imagine if we never got tired of our first experience (like it was our first) eveytime.... I sometimes wonder if we the "normal" people aren't the handicapped ones..
Love the stories,
Two thumbs..

This is madness, no THIS IS an airport layover...
Robert Kilbourn 🤣🤣🤣. He even has the Leonidas beard.

I'm from Poland. Almoust everyone in here is only happy when they see their neighbour misery. So Polish I'd say.
Lol.. As A former Marine I can appreciate the stories... lol Safe travels bro.
lol awesome video man, you were cracking me up
Honest Outlaw Reviews haha at least I'm not the only one! Starting to wonder if he was losing his mind.

Wonderful isn’t it? God wounldnt have given them to us unless he didn’t think we could handle them they are a blessing, truly Gods children!!!
My youngest son has Down Syndrome. He spends his day spreading hugs and smiles. At the end of the day, we are all "special needs..." is just comes in different flavors.
I just love this community. There is almost no bad talk. Just jokes, great stories and intelligent discussions.
Laughter. One of the best tools a Warrior has. Thank you for brightening our day. Safe travels and God bless
This just shows, hanging with John anywhere anytime is awesome.
One of the funniest videos I have ever seen! The posing on the seats was cracking me up, and picturing the ranger, slumped over, with chaw drooling out of his mouth..... I'm in tears!
Beautiful Soul you have John. God bless you, the world is a better place with you in it.

I know your pain John! Those seats definitely aren't for sleeping. I've spent two nights in an airport after missing my flights while visiting the girl who is now my wonderful wife.
Very cool
Thank you, after a tough day I finally lay down for some sleep. I watch this and I’m roaring with laugher. You made my day.
I like your videos. You have a great personality, very likeable. By the way, I've never seen anyone levitate in an airport until you. Safe travels and I hope you get rest soon.

Your videos normally get a chuckle outta me. But man, this one had me rolling! Great vid!
That ukelele back ground music 🎶 was bomb! It added a certain je ne sais quoi to the video. The poet was strong on this one.
John, can we be best friends? haha... for real though....
Sincerely,
All of your loyal followers
Haha, are we not already?
Stay safe and have a good trip John! It is too true that we find solace in the misery of others though.
I love these little vlogs or talks, it's not just the information you put out we enjoy watching but the guy behind it that's telling the stories, love the enthusiasm lol

I love the story time with jhon videos! I would love to see more of the war storys where you tell a story and engage targets at random times.
I feel your pain, John. I am a professional pilot and have spent many hours and days stuck in airports. I once even spent the night just outside the terminal building with all of the homeless people in San Juan, Puerto Rico
You always seem like you're in a good mood, when I travel that much I get so agitated or without much sleep
This is so wholesome to come back to..
Had me laughing throughout this video! Love your stories and your attitude. You're setting a great example for how people should react to inconvenient situations. God bless you dude!
Thanks brother, made my day lighter! Safe travels!
John, your optimism level is phenomenal brother. As a driver you see some stuff while driving but keeping a positive attitude sure does help. Great channel and excellent teachings. Keep up the good work.
Just placed my first order for my WPS shirt and hoodie. Can't wait to represent!
Thanks man!!
Best down to earth video ever!!!!!!! Absolutely hilarious John.... keep up the good work and stay safe my friend.
Love me some story time with John. Thank you Sir!! Awesome video.
Mr John....I love your stories and how you find positive in a negative situation.
20 years in the airline industry. I’ll tell you that being in an airport long enough brings on a sort of psychosis you can’t get anywhere else. Hope to see you on a flight one day. Good vid.
The folding comb brush combo needs to be a 150K sub giveaway!
Brilliant idea!
John Lovell dibs on the mini deoterant...
I think the folding comb/brush is a brilliant idea itself. Bonus to the winner, that comb touched the poet's beard.
😀checking in while traveling, all going well so far. A good reminder not to sweat the petty stuff.
The combat landing into KAF i was asleep, with a dip in. When I suddenly awoke to the lack of gravity, my dip was ALL the way in... my stomach... which was in my throat. RIP Copenhagen, you will not be forgotten.
Thank you! Its no “War Stories” but its almost as good. We needed that. Laughed out loud. Cheeks hurt.
Come on John! The one thing that EVERY military vet learns, regardless of branch, is how to sleep ANYWHERE! Good luck on your missions trip brother!

You Sir, are out of your mind. Great attitude. I LIKE it!
The ukulele in the background sleeping position montage got me ! Lol great video once again.
"...the fumes wafting..." those are words that painted a thousand pictures.
Thanks for the laugh.....right on time!!!
good times
Is it just me or can anyone else listen to this guy read a dictionary? A good dude delivering good content even if it's just randomness.
God bless you, John, and your beautiful family. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Be safe on your mission trip, God Bless
The DR is an awesome place. I spent two years there on a mission for my church. Absolutely loved every minute and the people are incredible. Have the "bandera" for me. I miss Dominican rice and beans.

Glad you were a Ranger!!!
Awkward times are definitely the funniest! I laughed out loud!
I love the sleep stories. My most memorable sleep deprived story was when a dude was so exhausted he took a pull off his spitter bottle instead of his water bottle. Heinous!
SCJMO been there, done that...more than once! So gross!!!
By far one of my favorite videos you have done
Good chuckle. Safe travels.. RLTW!
I love your story's man!
I was wanting you to kick into ranger mode and knock out some push-ups, grab a broom and start clearing the room.
That was a great story John. Really funny was laughing the whole time.
I feel for you brother. Had a 'similar' experience flying from Providence to Sydney via San Fran. I love videos like this, you gotta do more of them man!
My wife and I had to spend the night in Buenos Aires airport on two separate locations. Fortunately, seats in gate area were accommodating, and we cable locked our bags. "Slept" with one eye open. Quite an experience.
When I was at the airport in Bangkok they had chairs that were specifically design in a reclined position so you could relax during long waits.
That was epic! A Spec-Op attitude: if you don't mind it don't matter!! Humor is a must, civilians don't understand that aspect of intense operations. What a great video, well done!! I remember my fight to the sandbox, the long way around! You Da Man!
Thanks John... Needed that video today.
That Ranger dip spit story was hilarious!
I was having such a challenging day until I saw this video. Thank you for sharing and making this funny video.
