Another entertaining video man. You are a very positive person that’s out there enjoying a passion for fishing without having all the expensive gear. I felt your pain both when you were hit in the face with your jawjacker and when the part fell down the hole. It’s the little victories that mean the most. Can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks Bob! Always looking out for the small joys in life whenever I can! I was so bummed when the home made jacker broke.. and in the first 5 minutes to boot! 😫. Again, I appreciate you watching!
That’s the most ice I’ve seen anywhere. Nice rainbows
Riiiiiight?! I was so thankfull for the lent power auger! It surprised me at how thick the ice was 😳.
Great stuff! Love the energy! Definitely make quality videos!
Thanks brother! Appreciate the effort acknowledgment! It has been a lot of fun creating these videos, glad people like yourself are enjoying them
Hell ya man. Looks like a great time. Fantastic video. Great rainbow. What else can you ask for. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to your next trip.
Thanks brother! Even when things don’t always work out, it’s always a treat to be able to get out and do what we do- something I’m trying not to take for granted. Appreciate you watching!
Love the videos, lots of effort put in, nice work!
Thanks bro! Would love if you’d considering subscribing and joining the adventure if you enjoyed the content! 👏🏻🙌🏻
Man, great video. Filmed like a boss as always, and the trials and tribulations were real. We could deff have a good chat over this one. In the end though, it's just an awesome experience, no matter how many things go wrong haha. Man, you guys have alot of ice! We are so behind out this way. The udnwrwater camera was cool, been meaning to get one for a bit now, this pushes me harder pretty valuable tool! My heart hurt when you dropped that jaw jacker coat hanger. Cracking bows
Tyler, you legend, thank you! I can’t wait for the day we sit and fish and talk about trips like this one 🤣. I was so surprise at the amount of ice when the auger kept going! 😳. Super thankful my buddy lent the powered auger for this trip hahahaha. Oh, I just skimmed the tip of the iceberg with this camera.. excited to see what else it can do!
nicely done!
Thanks bro! You going after Steelies soon?!
Like always Landon you nocked it out of the park! Charlie is super nice to let you take his auger. I love my ion auger. Ion augers needs to send you an auger to review! they are awesome. The home made jaw jacker is a work in progress, but you will figure it out! Beautiful fat rainbows man! nice catches! The under water camera is a great tool and fun to watch! looks like the move paid off! Nice review with the eyoyo! can't wait for the next one!
Thanks Kevin! It was a huge blessing to be able to borrow the auger for a bit! Hopefully someone wants to sponsor me an auger soon 😅. I am super excited to try the jacket again.. see if I can get it to work this time. I fully believe I would’ve landed more fish had I had the jacket working. The underwater camera adds to the experience that’s for sure! Neat to see down at eye level with the fish.
A great outing. You got a few nice ones up out of the water. The DIY Jawjacker is a good idea. Sleeping on the ice is rough. Between the discomfort and ice cracking, it's never easy. So glad to see you didn't have to hand bomb holes. The camera looked great! Thanks for an excellent video.
Thank you Dan! My next trip out is going to be a couple nights in a shack.. I’m looking forward to some better sleep on the ice 😂. I was so excited for the diy jacker, and still am, just could not believe it broke and fell down the hole within the first 5 minutes of trying it hahaha. And having the powered auger was a huge blessing! So so appreciative
Sweet video 🤙🏽🎣
Thanks bro 🤙🏻
Great video! That camera is sweet - camping on the ice looks like a great trip!
Camping on the ice is definitely a must if you haven’t tried it?! Just make sure you dress for it, especially in a cheaper tent like mine 😅😂
That underwater camera is really cool!..got a few nice trout!..sucks you lost that one that was peeling drag..that looked like alot of fun!👊👍
Oh man! That fish peeling was definitely heavier for sure! After rewatching the footage I definitely stuffed up on the hook set 😔. Keeps us coming back though.. gotta find Moby in the lake
Great video, man!! Gotta live those eyoyo cameras for sure
Thanks buddy! The camera definitely surprised me with the image quality below the surface!
Solid stuff man! You got a talent with making videos!
Thank you bro! It’s nice to have effort noticed 🙌🏻
Thought it seemed risky talking smack against the Jaw Jacker when you hadn't tried the homemade setup yet, looks like they got the last laugh! Sometimes things just don't go your way, but looks like you still had fun out there! Always a goodtime when you're landing fish.
Hahahaha oh man! I was so stinking bummed I broke it in the first 5 minutes! I was so looking forward to seeing the puppy spring on a fish! Yup, this was a harder trip for me, things didn’t go as planned.. still have to keep a positive outlook on it all and find joy in the small things- like the snow falling down. Twinkle toes..😉
Good Stuff man! And oh ya, chunky soup is still delicious at home😂
Thanks bro! Tyler and I just cooked it up again for dinner, so good! Along with some fresh burbot 😉☺️
@@avid.venture awesome!!! Sounds like a successful trip!
Holy cow. Just looking for some ice camping videos and I came across this. You linked to my video I made for the homemade jaw jacker. Thanks. I've been using the original one in my video for years. Can't beat it. Tight lines brother.
Hahaha that’s awesome! Thank you for sharing your invention! Don’t mind me stuffing it up 😅. I’ve got it working better now 👌🏻. Appreciate you coming to watch. Would love if you joined the adventure and subscribed if you enjoyed my content 🙌🏻. Tight lines
@@avid.venture I already subscribed after watching the video.
@@FerreraGlen oh awesome! Thanks man. Appreciate you joining along 🙌🏻🤙🏻
Great Video thanks for sharing!
Thanks for checking it out! If you enjoyed yourself please consider subscribing and joining along on the adventure 🙌🏻
Another great adventure for the books! So good dude. Love the authentic look at the highs and lows!
Thanks bro! It’s not always golden goose eggs out there.. as you and I both know 😝. Looking forward to our next trip yeeereehaaaaa! 👏🏻🙌🏻
Way better to see you with an auger instead of struggling! Good fishing my dudes!! And isn’t the underwater camera awesome ! Have a great day 😁
Boy oh boy did that powered auger ever make a difference! I could get used to that! The underwater camera is definitely a bonus! I can’t wait to try it out again- maybe go after some pike on the next trip. Thanks for watching my man!
Great content man. I built the same jaw jacker as you. Its so rewarding building something and catching fish with it! 💪🏻
Thanks Andre! I love the idea of saving wherever I can- sadly I blew it on this jacker and the piece fell in the water, so I never had the chance to use it to its potential. It’s fixed now and I’m ready to take it out and try again!
Great video keep them up. Can't believe it broke off and fell into the hole 😅
How ridiculous! I was so excited to see the jacker in action 😅😂. Guess some things are better bought than built hahah
Very suspenseful vid Landon. That one you lost at the end looked like it was a good one. I know why the luck isn't there. It's that white truck. That's what happened to us at the same lake not long ago 😂 great vid still loved it!
Hahahahahah! Oh buddy, at least that white truck got me to the lake!...something your Ford couldn’t do 😝😒. Appreciate you watching Josh!
Beautiful Thumbnail BTW!
Thanks! It was a stretch for my to go back and get my camera and tripod... glad it worked out in the end though 😅
The first thing I noticed is how good your sound is. Which microphone are you using?
I really like the fact that you stayed the night on the ice. That chunky soup definitely looked nice and hot for the body!
Great decision to move to shallower water. The action picked up after that, and you ended up landing that nice rainbow!
I've been seeing the Eyoyo camera on a few channels now. It has a very clear image. Seeing that trout attack your bait was pretty cool. Too bad you missed it, haha.
Seriously, great video, man!! I enjoyed it from beginning to end!
Appreciate the words! I use a lapel at some points, otherwise a rode mic on my main camera. I do do a lot of editing for audio to make it sound better- nothing goes untouched from the camera.
It was a hard trip for me. Forgot a bunch of stuff, and had batteries and propane running out on me. I was happy that I was able to get some fish on that tip up regardless of the fact it was ‘broken’ since I dropped the main piece in the water at the beginning of the trip. Ugh.
The eyoyo camera definitely surprised me with the Image quality. I would like to run the recording option camera instead of filming the screen with the GoPro, so hopefully something comes about that and I can encourage you to get the better model of you do end up getting one! Again, appreciate you watching and spending time to make a comment. 🙌🏻
I love that Eyoyo underwater camera! nice solo trip. Couple questions for you. What lake is that? also wondering what camera do you use the most? thanks for the great and entertaining video!
Thanks Spencer! I thought the eyoyo gave a great new perspective I personally hadn’t seen. As for lakes, I don’t share names unless it’s a real obvious body of water that’s well known 😅. I love love love filming with my Canon R6, but I would say the piece of equipment that gets used the most would be the GoPro. It’s always on, capturing those early reactions. I just try not to show too much footage from the GoPro because IMO it doesn’t hold up to a dslr
@@avid.venture thanks for the reply. Keep up the good work.
Glad to see you using an auger that you don’t have to struggle with lol
Jaw jackers are worth their weight, just wait for them to go on sale. I’m looking to upgrade my eyoyo, is that the one you can record the footage with?
Oh buddy, that auger is very welcomed. Yeah I do enjoy using a jawjacker when I was able to borrow one on the last video.. I was just excited at the potential to make one myself for dirt cheap 😅. I got what I paid for hahahha. This model of camera was the basic. It would be great to be able to have screen recording option rather than filming the screen like I did. There’s a 10%off discount code in my description- try it out on the better model 🤷🏼♂️
Eyoyo sent me a camera like that a year or two ago... unfortunately porch pirates stole it. Never got it, but said was shipped. After that happened told them not to bother sending another worried would happen again.
Oh really hey?! What a bummer! It’s a pretty sweet camera! I was surprised at the quality of the image. Would love to get one that records the screen instead of using a GoPro to film it.
Yeah, the BTS stuff can get ridiculous 😅 I know the feeling of it all going wrong. Took a trip to Lower Nantahala, only caught 6x trout in a full day, then deleted all the footage by accident 😖😂 at least you got some boss footage out of it.
Right?! So much effort can go in to one shot only to be showcased for 2 seconds in the final video.. all of only a select few will actually watch and have not skipped by 🥲. Dude, that sounds brutal. Ugh. I feel your pain, that sucks so much!
Why do you have the extension on your auger? Oh, yeah I heard at the end not your auger. Maybe your buddy is really tall. I guess one fish is better than no fish. That initial clip with the line just screaming out, I couldn't find it in the video. Is that from another video?
22:01 is the spot you’re looking for! Yeah I have no clue with the auger- I’m a novice.. it didn’t bother me none though! It was actually pretty thick ice. It was definitely a bit of a rough go this trip, would’ve liked to be on more fish, but don’t we all 😅. It’s not all about the fishing for me, I’m out for the adventure and finding joy in the small things 🙌🏻
@@avid.venture Oh dang did that one straighten your jig out? Too bad that happened. Big ones have their way of staying in the lake. You're right when I watched it again the ice is pretty thick there. Freezes fast with no snow.
@@TheFishingDoctorsAdventures I’ll never know 😅. When I looked back on the video it looks like I didn’t give it a good enough hook set on the initial connection. But who knows, it’s what keeps us coming back 😄.
Yeah I lose lots of fish as well.... it happens@@avid.venture
I was curious if your Eyoyo has the DVR option? This is my biggest concern with getting one and how easily compatible the media is with most media players.
I was hoping to receive the DVR option but I did not, and got the basic model. I would love the option to record, because without it the screen recording option I had to use one of my cameras ( GoPro ) on the screen instead of filming something else. I’ve heard it’s a bit of a process to convert the media recorded in to mp4 format, not impossible, but just an extra step in the editing process.
Ok thanks for the info. That was my biggest concern. If I knew it wasn’t too hard I’d go for it. Keep up the good work man.
