In this episode, Gabe Savage tries to debunk whether or not it is the Swedish Jante law that makes Swede's work rather than boast about the stuff that they are working on. "Work hard, work hard..."-philosophy and "Walk the walk, but never talk the talk..."
    And is this even true?

Janteloven, or as you write it "Jante law", was originally written by Aksel Sandemose. He was a Danish born writer that moved to Norway, where he lived when he wrote the book were Janteloven makes it's first appearance.
Though Janteloven is well known and often mentioned in all the Scandinavian countries, it is not Swedish.

I like the figure sitting beside you as it sums up the junte swed. I find those types of people very boring and not worth the time.
