- This is an 2004 V rod VRSCB that we bought few months ago and with minimal modification and not very much money we accomplished to make a great bike.
We cut and make the rim wider, from 15cm to 23 cm, almost 2 inch. And we replace the stock 180 tire with 260mm tire but it looks like a 280 because of the wide rim.
we also changed the belt with a narrow one, we cut the front and back pulley to not rubbing the tire
we canceled the passenger seat, we cut the rear fender and put the license plate sideways, all of that to look cooler and we think we did it.
Also we painted almost all the parts in black matte and glossy black, some with powder coating and some with water based paint.
We spent about 3k in this project and the stock bike was about 7k.
For better sound we removed one muffler exhaust and it sound mad.
This is the firs bike project for us and we love it, it is not perfect but it looks nice and we are proud of it, the bike runs with no problem.
Next project willl be a wider tire, like 360 but we need to save some money first.

Great build! Question.. I have an 04 v rod frame but I have a 2011 swingarm and 240 wheel.. will it bolt on to the other older model frames?
With some modification i think it will work but also we have to buy or build new axes
Question. I have an 09 v tod muscle and i love those wheels. Any idea where i can get a set that can replace my current ones without modifying the bike? Many thanks ahead of time.

What did you do with the handlebars and the speedometer? did you buy a new one? I want to modify my vrod but I don't know what to do with those two things
I only changed the handlebar with a drag bar, the speedometter remains the samw

Geez! Is that how they do fat tire customizations for Harleys? Has anyone had their custom rim fall apart? That's a little sketchy but I'm not a machinist so🤷♂️. I'm just very interested in a bike like this.

Hi, you don t need to if your rim width don t get higher than 8,5j or maybe 9j..i have a picture with exact dimension in this video....I only changed the belt with a narrow one from HD and i cut the rear and front pulley a little bit. Also i cut the belt cover a bit.
It is not a big deal, and it is worth it

I realy don t know but i thing if you have the money it works but i don t know if you should because it has a small frame and don t think will look good
You still need to change the front light. Make it two small ones in stead of this one big piece

Gen roata din spate de 330 mm ceasurile sa fie pe rezervor integrate , jante spițate motorul un vopsit un galben aurit ca si idee as vrea ca Per total sa fie un negru / galben , cam la ce pret a ajuns acest proiect ca și idee . Salut, pentru ce vrei sa faci, daca ai cunostiinte in domeniu si resurse( tehnicieni, utilaje, strungari, etc) te duce cam 4000€, daca apelezi la o firma ca noi sau Ace Custom, etc te duce vreo 12.000€
