Fun fact: DuckTales, together with Rescue Rangers, was the first ever western animated cartoon to being broadcast in USSR
It's kinda crazy to think that they even had American TV shows out there at all
lol
Then when was the Armenian version made if the happened before the fall of the USSR?

The Armenian version sounds like it's recorded by the local church choir on a random Saturday afternoon. 😂
yeah 😭
Rest In Peace Ermavilo (the one that sang the Italian theme song of DuckTales and Rescue Rangers)
Fun fact: In Brazil, the owner of SBT Channel, the renowned entertainer Silvio Santos, heavily invested in this animated series. At the time, his show occupied practically the entire Sunday programming schedule, and "DuckTales" was featured as a segment within his "Programa Silvio Santos." It was not uncommon to see people wearing character costumes on his show, and the person singing the version that aired on his network is someone he still trusts to this day, named Luis Ricardo. Luis has hosted various segments on his show in Silvio Santos' absence and was one of the many Brazilian Bozo clowns.
I've been waiting for this. Thanks
Np! I've been meaning to upload it sooner but Disney's been on my case about copyright recently.
@EvelynMedranoARMYLanguageGirl Thanks haha and I'm so glad that you love languages as well
Such a great theme song
The first Czech one is sung by Vilem Cok, the bass player of Prazsky vyber, an old school prog rock band named after a shitty wine brand.
This is true 😂😂

It's very difficult to choose a favorite version, but I think the ones I loved most were: Danish (V2), Greek, Hebrew, Icelandic, Italian and Norwegian,
But i also liked Armenian, Cantonese, Dutch, European Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean (V2), Latin Spanish, Mandarin and Swedish (V1)
And Slovene (V1) is cursed lol
i grew up with danish #2 or #3 not sure 10:12 11:06 Dcuktales theme song is just really good
Fun Fact: In Brazil, DuckTales gained a subtitle, which in some cases was said to be the official title of the cartoon (One of the examples is the narrator at the end of the opening), the subtitle was "Os Caçadores de Aventuras" which in a free translation would be "The Adventure Hunters"
Used as Barney's Error Dance To teach the User a lesson for turning off their computers.

Brazilian Duck Tales Theme Song Lyrics (First version/TV version):
Aí vem um furacão
Vem emoção
Tem Corrida e Avião
Vem Sensação
Velhos Castelos, Belos Duelos
DuckTales (woo-hoo)
Lyrics Translation:
Here comes a hurricane
Comes excitement
There's Race and Airplane
Comes Sensation
Old Castles, Beautiful Duels
DuckTales (woo-hoo)
It's the Adventure Seekers (woo-hoo)
They're all great characters (woo-hoo)
Our friends, face them
But there are dangers that scare
All this happens in DuckTales (woo-hoo)
They are the Adventure Seekers (woo-hoo)
They are all great characters (woo-hoo)
That's why the kids just want DuckTales (woo-hoo)
Thanks for the lyrics as well!
In Greek it is actually said "Ducks" as Ducktales is a long word.
I find it interesting how they shortened the word in the theme song to "Ducks". The way they sing the Greek word for ducks though really does go with the rhythm haha
Finland really broke my arms this time.
Norwegian is insane
Duck Tales
Persian dub isn't weird it's just the English song with Persian captions
Yeah. I probably would've included it if I used video footage for this multilanguage
Missing Rare Dubs:
Mongolian
Crimean Tatar
Kazan Tatar (Incomplete)
Mavonian
Persian
Interesting.
These Were Uploaded And yup This Video May Need A Update, I Don’t Know What Mavonian is, For Me its A Conlang, Because when I Search for The flag, It showed up The flag Of Macedonian
@@LidvaKunner Oh nice I hadn't seen these lol, and yeah I think I could update this video next year too to feature these versions. I'm supposing Mavonian is a conlang too as I searched it up and got the same result as you did
you Also Missed The German Disney Club Dub
@@LidvaKunner I hadn't really missed it since I was aware that the dub existed and sounded different than the German dub used here, although at the time I intended for each of the versions in this video to have the same melody so I had to exclude that and also the other Castilian Spanish version from a Disney Club promo. I'd probably include these in a future version of this multilanguage though along with the regular dubs
So, the original Korean version translates to "Greedy Duck Man," which seems like a joke about bad translations of English products in another language, but I am NOT making up. And the cover album (check the description) for it is GHASTLY! Kinnikuman looks like he got the worst of it.
That's hilarious 😂😂 I like how they made that as a commentary on the bad translations of English (or in this case American English-language) products in languages like Korean, this dub's theme song translation sounds clever
Malay version:
hidup ni macam ribut, sini duckburg kereta, laser, kapal terbang, bagai duckblur, selesaikan misteri buat sejarah, ducktale(ooo) setiap hari mereka buat ducktale (ooo) bahaya di belakang mu, penjahat mengejar mu, tak perlu tunggu dapatkan saja ducktale (ooo)
There's actually two Arabic Standard and Egyptian
Standard Arabic is only for the movie credits
cool
Missing: French #2, German #1 (Disney Club)
But honestly, the German Disney Club intro is so bad, not including it actually improves the quality of the video. Not even Disney + has it, they have the ARD intro, alongside the ARD voice of Scrooge (for season one, season two uses the Disney voice, and I haven’t checked season three). The credits also claim that Huey, Dewey and Louie have their ARD voices, but if you compare that with the movie, where they had their Disney voice, it‘s clearly that one. So yeah, there is a Disney dub so bad, even Disney themselves won’t admit it‘s existence
EDIT: Season 3 also uses the Disney voice
Yeah..there was also a Spanish Disney Club one but omg. I heard the German Disney Club version before and it was really awful. Like comically bad almost
😂 I wonder why they sung in like stereotypical German accents.
Also do you know where I can find French #2? (that isn't the movie version)
@@AsapToastyysDubs I don’t, sadly. I just heard it in Methavn‘s multilanguage, so you might have to ask them about it. And from your answer I guess you left that one out intentionally? (And I it might‘ve been the movie version, but that would have dialogue in the background, wouldn’t it?)
@@AsapToastyysDubs Also, they don‘t actually really sing in any accents, they just disguise their voices for whatever reason. However, Germans hate this version more than foreigners might, or at least some do.
You see, apart from the singing being awful, the other reason why Germans hate this intro is because everything about it, from the lyrics, the singing (in some parts), to the audio quality to even the tweaked instrumental, is very reminiscent of old propaganda/marching songs used by some very infamous historical figures. Seriously, my first thought when I listened to that version was „Wtf, this sounds like an old marching song“ (I only know these because I stumbled upon one of those when I was trying to listen to a song from a musical that has the same name as that song). My mom, who grew up in DDR, said it reminded her of songs the „Pioniere“ (that was the youth organisation of the SED) would sing. So not only is that version genuinely awful, most native speakers of the language it was made for will hate it because it reminds them of their country’s past, or rather, the worst parts of it. Nice one, Disney!
@@nikegniwotta4657 Yeah. I assume that version would have the dialogue if it were from the movie, so it might've been an actual dub. In hindsight it'd probably make sense to include the German and Spanish (now that I've looked) Disney Club promo versions too since those have aired on TV, while not used on the series.
DuckTales Rai 2
In Poland DuckTales have 2 dubbing versions.
There were actually 2 (from TV)?
@@AsapToastyysDubs Yes, even 3

2nd version from 2007
3rd lost version from 1989 (I'm sorry for dirty graphic)

PS. Third is with lector.
@@meksykanskiwojak-liczezeza2575 I think I was sent some old promo of it uploaded years ago on YT and was pretty confused that Polish would have a lector for a dub. They don't usually do that.
@@AsapToastyysDubs 4 intro versions:

I’m also trying to make dub videos of my own how do I make those without getting copyright claim or strike
@@Cooldubsidk Nice! I think those would be interesting to see. In general, I would advise to (if needed) use higher pitched audios (such as PAL audios, such as I had for certain dubs in this video) or speed up the audio that may be copyright claimed (only if the video gets blocked, such as if the English or German dub would cause the video to be blocked or the channel strike from using it.) Another thing I would also do is to avoid using video footage of the theme song, rather using either backgrounds of the flags with text that reads the language (such as 'Hindi' text on an Indian flag in the background), or simply using a still frame such as the logo from whatever you're making a multilanguage on and adding the language name in the text, flags are optional as well.
I HATE THE 1987 VERSION, BUT I LIKE THE 2017 VERSION

I never promised those dubs to be uploaded just yet, mostly because I don't even have the audios of them since they're still kinda lost.
@@AsapToastyysDubs but they can't lost their dubs all Disney shows have nordic dubs and if they are losing them it's against the law
@@elisabethsande346 Of course it would be impossible for Disney themselves to lose the dubs somehow - they most likely still have the dubs themselves albeit not airing them on TV nor releasing them through streaming just yet.
@@elisabethsande346 What I mean by lost is that the dub hasn't been found nor retrieved by me or any others in the community that I've spoken to about them. Because I don't, per se, work at Disney to have easy access to the dubs like you suggest this is what I allude to by defining them as lost.
