Yea but everything comes back again.. people now going crazy over all these bands like Nickleback, Creed, Blink 182 again. People who grew up with them are 30s-40 and wanting to relive their youth.
I am SOOOO glad you got this! I had just had surgery the day before or so (too drugged to remember) and people were begging me not to go so I don't get hurt but I just had to. And I am glad I did! And I finally get to see the other OGs (CKY) this year at Aftershock Festival.
I’ve been playing drums to every CKY album for years and know them all by heart, so it hurts to see this drummer miss a few parts here and there but that’s alright still an incredible performance! Long live 96BB!!!
Thanks for your feedback dude, much appreciated. We had many discussions on should try to mimic all of how Jess played and we decided that I needed to throw myself in. Obviously, I've tried to replicate most of the live videos I had watched previously but bring my own approach. Also, I was nervous AF since it was only our second show on this tour 🙏
@@TuomasVuorioDrummer it’s gotta be tough to find that happy medium with songs as iconic as some in the CKY catalogue, I did not mean to come across as insulting, you did a great job and I’m sure it will only get better the more you play together!

@@TuomasVuorioDrummerdude you did great. Thank you for being a part of 96. Your keeping this amazing thing alive, and for me, 96 is the only music I listen to, and it never gets old. Just wanna say thank you. Btw, I’m kind of against social media and don’t have insta or Facebook. Is there anyway else I can find out when and where you guys are playing? I am dying to see you guys play. Thanks for playing my favorite songs!
Gotta tell you it's gotten rough here mate. Homeless are way worse and the laws are changing like crazy. Crime has gone up even in the "good" neighborhoods and cops ain't doing anything past hunting for traffic tickets. The vibe this town used to have is dead and gone. It's small shows like this that are trying to resurrect the cold dead corps of what this place used to be. This show got close to the good old days before C-19
Man, it’s horrible to see such a small crowd for an amazing set. Chad’s “CKY band” has a larger crowd when they play and I imagine it’s because old fans think it’s the original band they are watching. And chads band sounds mediocre at best. Wish that 96 brought in the crowd that they deserve. I know it’s been years that have past but the music still is some of the best and holds up. Hopefully they release an incredible old school cky sounding album that will have sold out shows. And come down to south Florida for fucks sake
Cky with Chad really sounds like shit to be honest. Even with Deron backing him he wasn't even good enough at guitar to play the full riffs. But Im not talking shit on his skills as a producer cause the dude really has an ear for sonics. I still would love to see a reunion at some point, even if it would be a proper farewell tour for CKY
I live in West Chester, PA and you'd be surprised by how many people out here ranging between 25 to 45 years of age don't know who CKY is or was. It's as if they've become forgotten. It's real sad. I have only come across a handful of people who recognize their music when they hear it blasting in my car. I agree about Chad's band. It just isn't the same without the original lineup, specifically Deron.
What a weak crowd!! In Chicago the 96 alliance really showed up we had that building shaking not one head wasn’t banging everyone was doing the 96 Chant between every song I can’t believe how under weling the energy in that crowd is they do not deserve 96
@@lagep It's just funny because they have fanboys on other threads claiming that shows were so sold out that the fire marshal was going to shut it down. Or claiming that the Vancouver show was cancelled due to "too much demand" instead of low ticket sales. 😂

Deron is an amazing frontman

This show is recorded amazingly
Too bad there are so many fuck ups throughout the entire performance
Man. Matty and Tuomos sound great. I can’t wait for the Philly gig. These guys deserve bigger crowds!
true but we also have to painfully admit 90s and 2000s America and what was cool and relevant is fading fast into obscurity

Yeah Deron was CKY. 96 Bitter Beings sounds more like CKY than the current version of CKY does.
Sadly that’s exactly the case. Casual fans just assume it’s the same band from the jackass days but they’re a shell of themselves without Deron
