    Excellent advice, I actually stopped mid workout to see why my back was hurting. This helped immediately, I had to slow down the reps and really concentrate on engaging my quads but the last reps didn’t hurt in my back at all. Thanks for the video.

    This video makes a lot of sense. I did have back surgery 10 years ago so I have avoided these but tried to do them in the open yesterday and every time I went backwards the pain was excruciating. Like a pinch as soon as I broke parallel. I’m thinking this is due to injury but wondering if you have any advice on the descent.
