Hey man, great review. Just a note. The clips are either manufactured wrong for your radio, or you're just not properly aligned. I thought mine wasnt going into the clip at first too, but after a little while i figure out how to seat it properly.

No it’s just the clips on this specific one. They don’t fit perfect. It’s supposed to but mine doesn’t. It’s a cheap made unit so mine just isn’t perfect. It’s all good lol. How do you like yours?

I recommend the Dynavin D8-MST2010 Plus for a 2010-2014 Mustang.
Got it in my 2012 and fits perfectly and works very well...a bit pricey tho
Edit: Instructions suck a bit as well, but its 99% easy plug & play

I have that same radio. I left off the clips in the middle and used only the ones at the top because I ran into the same thing. They didn't see to line up right. The other thing is the HVAC controls are in Celsius and not Fahrenheit and one of the apps is in Chinese and no English at all. The apps don't follow Androids country settings.

Has ignition noise I can't get rid of and the attached USB module that let's you use your android phone for it's Android Auto doesn't do anything. Tried talking to American Muscle about the unit after I got it installed and they said they just sell it. They don't honor any type of warranty. They'll never see another dime of my money.

The screen on those receivers remind of a really old kindle fire and even kindles had better lighting😢
