Hey man, great review. Just a note. The clips are either manufactured wrong for your radio, or you're just not properly aligned. I thought mine wasnt going into the clip at first too, but after a little while i figure out how to seat it properly.
@@zeprute6486 your absolutely right though. Mine came in barely fitting. Just noted it in the video as it’s my personal experience and something people should take into consideration before buying what could happen lol
No it’s just the clips on this specific one. They don’t fit perfect. It’s supposed to but mine doesn’t. It’s a cheap made unit so mine just isn’t perfect. It’s all good lol. How do you like yours?
I recommend the Dynavin D8-MST2010 Plus for a 2010-2014 Mustang. Got it in my 2012 and fits perfectly and works very well...a bit pricey tho Edit: Instructions suck a bit as well, but its 99% easy plug & play
@@beepbeepmichael I was hesitating at first as well, bought some cheaper ones from amazon first...usual china crap, all refunded. Im driving my Mustang since 2019 and will do so for at least 2 or 3 more years. Calculating my spendings in years/months/weeks/days makes it feel cheap lol
I have that same radio. I left off the clips in the middle and used only the ones at the top because I ran into the same thing. They didn't see to line up right. The other thing is the HVAC controls are in Celsius and not Fahrenheit and one of the apps is in Chinese and no English at all. The apps don't follow Androids country settings.
Mine was able to be switched to F through the cars settings. Through the main menu on the display where your mileage is. If you look up how to change miles to kilometers and C to F it should change on your radio as well
I have the Navos for my 2012 GT I got in 2020 for $899. I hate it!!! Has ignition noise I can't get rid of and the attached USB module that let's you use your android phone for it's Android Auto doesn't do anything. Tried talking to American Muscle about the unit after I got it installed and they said they just sell it. They don't honor any type of warranty. They'll never see another dime of my money.
I never hooked up my CarPlay. I am going to re take it apart and fix it. As for the volume the steering wheel buttons don’t work anymore which is normal for aftermarket radios. But aside from that it all works good
@epmichael there is a Canbus adapter you need to hook it up. I had to hunt through the ford options and found one that worked perfectly. It didn't say it was for Mustang though.
I found that the USB ports are a bit flaky. Also the two tiny wires that hang loose on the back are for Wi-fi and the wi-fi pretty much sucks on those.
Thanks for the video, but are the voice control at the steering wheel ( the button with the music sign on it ) still working when you press it ? ( voice commands like , blue tooth audio , dial , next track, read message , phone,.... ) ?
No. That is a normal thing with any aftermarket radio in any car. Their is a module that reads it in your main radio that would need to be bypassed or reprogrammed which I do not have the time nor tools to do and it’s like $400 to get just that done at a shop by me
@@beepbeepmichael Thanks for your feedback, I tried an alternative which is using the same button ( programmed ) to switch between apps ( Radio , Bluetooth Voice , Music , .. ) better than nothing, and almost does the job :)

The clips are bad in this specific unit. It was a known complaint with these since it’s practically a regular screen set into a crappy plastic mount. It depends on the unit by unit and I got a bad one. I don’t mind
No. But I’ve heard many things about it with any of these full unit radios. Apparently disconnecting the battery and letting it sit then reconnecting it works
I bought this head unit. Chinese piece of shit. AC buttons and ac screen don’t work. I’ve tried everything. Different canbus and everything. Doesn’t turn off when the car is off. Don’t buy. Also the sound quality is worse than stock.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting your 12 Volt car battery under the hood. It hard resets the radio and should fix issues such as fhaf

A/C Indicator Panel pops up from time to time without pressing buttons any advise on that ?

Go into the settings, click factory settings, the code will be 8888, then find where it says something about the ac panel and turn it to closed.
