I had that issue too i put it in last night and had to go into the settings where i had to put a 4 digit code(3368) and had to change the canbus settings and had to choose what car i had. That fixed the lower section and steering wheel controls. However i can’t find out the heated seats

@@BrianFunkOk i can lyk In like 2 days when i get back to the car but if you click thru the options eventually one of the first ones will say ford then the next option gives the type of car mine personally is 2012 and then im certain im on no cd high but all of them work for radio buttons steering wheel controls and ac/heat i just can’t figure out heated seats

@@troysavageau3198 you can definitely fit a twin mattress and most likely a regular/full if you don’t need extra room in it I’ve seen it done. Weather or not you’d want to sleep back there I’d say probably not since it’s a very low trunk and you would hit your head every time trying to sit up

@@curtiscollins2174 congratulations. Mine is original and currently at 242k miles. As long as you maintain it yes it will last. I also had a 2007 civic hybrid with a CVT that went over 305k miles when I sold it and is still driving. PLEASE keep up on the service when you bring it to the dealer and if you feel anything out of the ordinary or slipping get that fluid changed asap. That is your first warning sign the fluid is over due

@@Thomas-tf4cm I’ve had 3 civics since 2005. The 05 had 290k miles the 07 had 305k miles (it’s been seen on my TikTok @beepbeepmichael) and this one has 240k driving perfect even after this trip. All I say though is maintenance maintenance maintenance and it’ll take care of you. The proof is in mine

@@WinterPsionic that is super strange. I researched and found a photo of a 2007 LS and it worked. Unless you have a fleet vehicle it should work. I hope you figure it out. Do you have the bench seats or buckets with the floor shifter

@@beepbeepmichael Bucket with Floor just like yours, the only difference I noted was your Leather vs Fabric. Wasn't a fleet vehicle so I'm left to assume the LS makes the difference. I found another video that I strongly believe matches my vehicle where they identify it as 2011 Impala 9C1 (ie former cop car, so fleet) but based on what I see in the 'back wall' of my trunk the 'hooks' that keep the seatback in place seem to be there. Guess that just means I'm gonna be 'crawling' into my trunk to do some cleaning...

@@WinterPsionic I honestly don’t know. I’ve seen both the cloth and leathers work the way I mentioned but they may have some differences on different models lol

@@dhp6478 the best advice I can give as a long time civic owner since 2005. I had an 05 with 290k miles an 07 with 305k miles and the 14 with 237k miles. ALWAYS. Take it to the Honda dealership for service or if you do it yourself use the Honda OEM oil and parts. Dont be cocky on maintenance always get it done. They will be reliable either way but you will not make it as high on the mileage without doing maintenance religiously

@@calebwatmore5956 I absolutely loved it. I got it with near 200k miles and clearly it wasn’t in the best of shape I don’t deny it. I actually did my best to fix it up and take better care of it. I drove that car a lot and I actually bought another 2006 fusion alongside it that’s how much I loved it. Unfortunately I was put into a position where I had to downsize and sold both for my 2007 civic hybrid which was cheaper to insure and drive and it was better on gas. I miss the fusions

@@beepbeepmichael I know Waze requires a network connection for traffic updates and rerouting, so do you not get those features? I currently have a Dynavin 8 radio and can only use Waze with Android Auto. I hate it cause it makes my phone overheat.

@@bkehlin mine at least came with a GPS module that you are supposed to stick to the top of the car. However finding ways to route the wire and stick it out of the car is very difficult and could be dangerous as once it is plugged in it has electricity running to it so if it gets pinched in the door or the dash it could electrocute you. I personally just use Waze with my iPhones apple CarPlay which the radio has. I’ve heard this models maps with Waze is pretty bad anyways so I didn’t take the time

@@Moremoney-h7b you are correct. Only thing is that it is the cost of a Chevy trax and almost as much as a Honda HRV both are better options

@@jgriffin411 it is very sad. I mean that. I actually really like the newer Santa Fe’s not the brand new ones but I wish they were better. Near my house there is a 3rd gen Santa Fe abandoned next to a brand new one. I talked to the owner and he said it’ll be his last Hyundai he hates both of them. I hope you have luck with yours and if you ever have issues that they will honor your warranty but if not threaten a lawsuit they definitely will that’s what I did. Also I do not use as much chemicals as you’d think even as a detailer lol that gallon bottle I’ve had for 2 years

I have no choice but to park it under trees that’s also why all 3 of my cars have dents on the roofs we get very heavy acorns that fall on the cars I’ve tried to move them to hopefully prevent issues (knock on wood) but it is what it is

@@outlaw0277 that is Awesome man. They make very quality cars. I have had civics since a 2005. The 05 had 290k miles when I sold it still driving fine on a 2007 hybrid which I sold at 305k miles still driving and our 2014 which you saw in that video still runs and drives excellent at 231k miles

My car is the FULLY loaded mustang with every option but heated seats lol. If you have them and configure the radio to your car in the settings it'll show the seat heaters
