he's one of my favorite drummers, like top 5. A ton of metal drummers are fast as fuck and crazy but they don't understand the feel. You don't need a big set or super complex rhythms to make people lose their shit, you just gotta know which rhythms work with that particular riff and make it sound interesting.
I played drums in the LA punk scream circuit in 199-2000. But I never saw anything like this on drums. We were still all playing the Bad Brains beat. Holy sh-t.
do you know what ride he uses? i went on a quest and dug through pictures and websites and figured it was probably a zildjian a custom ping ride but who knows. and judging from the crash he could have switched to meinl. oh well, finally happy to see good drum footage of this band!
He wasn't getting along with Avi and RJ anymore and didn't like the direction they were/are going. But he also drums for one of the most badass powerviolence/hardcore bands out there Coke Bust and he has another grind band called Disciples of Christ

I once saw him use an A zildjian sweet ride as crash cymbal, if it helps, but I don't know about the ride, either. Nevertheless, it sounds awesome!
