    I went to Akureyri on a short holiday in winter 2019, it snowed when I was there(it felt wrong to go there in summer), ive been to several countries on holiday, I really fell in love with Akureyri, my favourite holiday destination so far, Godafoss frozen looks exactly like the photo I've got on my phone 😆

      100% agree - it's certainly a winter destination. Such a great place to visit, nice atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful!
      I am currently editing another Akureyri video that I hope to have out by the end of the month, stay tuned :)

    Love the Aussie Beanie 👌 Not sure why they would need one in the Northern Territory but it’s definitely at home in Iceland 😎

    Brilliant content! So well done :) Where do you recommend to rent the cross country skis?

    • @VividIceland
      @VividIceland  2 года назад

      Good question, I'm glad you asked. We rented them from this place: goo.gl/maps/vAbsG96vuBbmfaAv9 (Skíðaþjónustan)
      They even had shoes big enough for my big feet so I think virtually everyone should be covered!

    Are there designated places to ski in this area or do you just go and ski wherever you like? I’m from the US where we generally have to go pay at a resort!

    • @VividIceland
      @VividIceland  3 года назад +1

      There are indeed designated skiing areas that you have to pay for... but if you know the area well enough and are daring enough you can ski pretty much anywhere you like!
