@@JohnTaylor-tl1gh no, we have a thing in this country called due process. Also, to be lawfully arrested by a federal agent, you have to have committed a federal crime - which none of these people had. And there were no warrants; I'm really not sure where you're struggling here.
I love Florida as usual but i went from laughing to teary-eyed in a split of a second. I didnt think anyone knew what John Lewis did and his contributions. Your videos mean so much to me in my sanity in these times but this one touched my heart. Thank you for making the news light.
Knowing that Rep Lewis was beaten severely, along with many of the 600 people on the 1st March, it was extremely gratifying to learn that, about 2-3 weeks later, he was able to finish his march to Montgomery with 8,000 people (the final number in Montgomery the day they arrived was an estimated 25,000). I didn't know or learn about this growing up, other than the fact the march happened. I learned some of it reading his memorials in some of the major newspapers, and then researching him deeper on my own. He was a greater man than I could have imagined, and the world is a bleaker place without his steadying influence. 😕
Rep Lewis is one of the greatest men this country has ever had. We need several statues of him. Did you know one of his ancestors, a former slave, fought to get to vote. As soon as he was able, he went and voted. It took 100 years before someone in his family had that right again. John Lewis was that man. He fought so all could vote.
You made me cry there at the end. A great man whose shoes we can all stand in. That's really what made him exceptional is that he lead by example we can all follow.
I really appreciate these videos, they keep my updated in a way that doesnt make me rip my hair out and I love all the characters, if after 2020 there is less drama I hope you'll still do skits like this because it really brightens up my day.
OMG! I laughed so hard I had to pause then rewind the video when that collection of Southern States hit DC with the passive aggressive assault. It really SO representative of us.

Great tribute to John Lewis! And, let's not forget Rev. C.T. Vivian as well, who died the same day. Not-so-fun fact: one of the catalysts for the Selma to Montgomery March was the police killing of a protester.
I'm not humbled and embarrassed that I didn't know about Lewis' work with a graphic novel about the civil rights movement. Thanks for the education in more of what I already knew about this great man. ❤️❤️❤️ Keep doing this work. I salute you.
This is arguably your best one yet!
