Thanks for watching! It's seriously so much fun sliding the cars around like that. You'll have a great time! I found a great (and cheap) AirBnB nearby too so if you need a recommendation on where to stay.
Actually not very much! I'm sure you would be fine. Basically you put it in second and stay there for 80% of the exercises. There was a young kid in our group with his dad who had never driven a manual transmission before and end of day 1 he was a total pro.
Very much want to do this, rally is kinda like mountain biking with your car in some ways, the concepts of reading terrain and looking way ahead are what you need to go fast bombing down a mountain too. Also shifting your weight (I know your strapped into the seat in a car but you’ll still “prepare” you body/arms/eyes for whatever your about to go over while strapped in)…hopefully I can make it up there one day. Super cool thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching and great comparison to the mountain biking. I've never tried mountain biking but certainly sounds like there are lots of similarities.
Definitely on my bucket list!

This is Pat from that class, great video! I have my final Mill Run on my channel as well.
Glad you liked it and thanks for watching! I'll check out your Mill Run too. Was really fun doing the class with you as well.
How much are you actually shifting? I want to go but I haven't driven a manual in years and don't want the rust to hold me back.
