Circumstances Can Be Deceptive

Christian Science used to say that sickness does not exist. But the reality of it is, we live in two worlds at the same time. We live in the spiritual and the natural, the supernatural and the natural at the same time. For the sick person, sickness is in the natural, but healing is in the spiritual realm by the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing. When we hear from God's Word that healing is His will, we can believe that by faith. Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is the evidence of things not seen. Even when healing is not a part of our physical life, by the Word of God, we can believe it in our hearts. In Mark 11:24, Jesus said to believe you receive when you pray. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says we're to walk by faith and not by sight. That means to believe what we do not see. What we do see may look as if it's permanent, but we do not have to believe that. When Jesus spoke to that fig tree in Mark 11, the leaves indicated that it was still alive, but those leaves were wrong.
