- Let's see what will happen when we cook this Betty Crocker Blueberry Muffin Mix in a Dash Mini Waffle Maker. Dash Mini Waffle Maker - amzn.to/2LNjFl0
These small appliances only use 350 watts and are great for cooking in small spaces. They are great for RV cooking, van cooking, car cooking, dorm cooking, hotel room cooking, office cooking, etc. They are small, portable, and light weight so they are easy to travel with. They are also excellent prepping gear. Since they only use 350 watts and cook very fast, they can be easily run off of a generator or solar power station.

Check out Imperfect Foods! I think you’ll like them. They deliver groceries to my front door. I’m really enjoying how sustainable and affordable it is. Here’s a coupon for $20 off your first order (of $40 or more). refer.imprfct....
#food, #cooking, #dashmini;
One thing I do with my waffles is add a packet of oatmeal with the waffle mix. They come out very nice. It helps make the sweetness of the waffle not be such a carbo overload cuz it slows down the carb absorption in the bloodstream. And it tastes good too
Pair of chopsticks will work 4 cooling down ❤
I would bet if you added more milk/water to get a waffle consistency you’d get blueberry waffles. Try chocolate chip. Add fresh berries if available. I have MANY of these dash appliances. I use the waffle maker the most, but also the popcorn maker and donut maker. I like the donut maker because I can make one at a time and save the batter. I’m making a mini pie today, maybe two.
Just a hint - cut the package top off instead of ripping it off. Or even cut a corner off enough to get the mix out.
Those tiny squared off bits of faux fruit remind me of Sen Sen breath fresheners
Happy to see it worked for you. I have the mini Bundt maker and now I’m going to try the muffin mix in there 🥰 Thanks for sharing, Dolores ❤️
thanks for watching!
I make muffins in my mini bundt maker, it works quite well
The good thing about fruit muffin mixes is they are very sweet so you don't need syrup just a bit of butter while it's still warm.😋
Now I,know what to do with those muffin mixesI have!! But I think I would put a bit less batter into my waffle maker and cook it for a bit longer. Looks very good. I have many of those Dash Dash appliances!
You helped me get into electric cooking . I made my own portable power station , it's only 180 watts but can put out 400 amps for a short time to jump start a car , but now I have a RoadPro and I can cook using my power station and some solar panels . I just bought a NewPowa 60 watt portable solar panel and I'll be buying 2 more in the future , I'll do a review of the solar panel eventually . But thanks for introducing Me to the RoadPro (and Thanks for coking fish and I think chicken with the road pro) and also the Dash Mini Griddle (Thanks for grilling chicken thigh with the Dash mini griddle , I want to do that in the fuuture too) , I'm thinking about using the Dash with my power station and a 500 watt inverter and solar panels eventually . Ok , I love Your cool electric cooking videos , Thanks for being cool :)
Thanks for watching. Sound really cool!
You would need to add some oil to your liquid in order to have crisp outside
Although at home I would make a simple. easy recipe from scratch, but for traveling or camping the muffin mix is very handy and only requires water. Nice idea!
Sometimes those mixes are so sweet I use as a dessert base for ice cream sundae.
yes they are very sweet
Wow thats a great idea
Thank you. My daughter got me one of those waffle makers & I have muffin mixes & hate making muffins! May try this this weekend.
These kinds of mixes also work fantastic for pancakes! I also add an egg to them as well as the requested liquid per mix bag. If you wanted to not use an egg, a little bit of ground flax+a little water mixed together also works!

Nice!
Thank you for this! I'm trying to find things my kids can help make and this is perfect!
Artificially flavored blueberry bits.
Great idea! I’ve never tried those mixes, will look for them next time I go shopping. I bet it would make a good mini bundt cake too
Yes, it probably would.
They make great mini loaf breads
The blue bits are artificial blueberries and the blue is made from coal tar…..yummy!
I have learned so much from your videos. Thank you.❤
thanks for watching
I will give this a try, however I might strain out those artificial blueberry-like bits made with palm oil and food colouring and try freeze dried blueberries.
It’s not just the blueberries that are fake
That sounds really nice especully for morning tea/coffee breack. I do aploagise for not cheacking in but have been busy buying an new pocket sailing boat. I have allso moved to an new area for very short break, will be doing an update soon as i have got things setteld down a bit with my new boat.
Gerard.
Funny to just now find this! I made some last week and they were delicious, hot with butter.
That's great!
Looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it. I love all your videos! TY
Thanks for watching
Add blueberry syrup and might e really good.
You can do the same thing with cookie mix
What’s your secret? I tried a peanut butter cookie mix and it didn’t work… 🤔
Great idea!
Good idear
Might try some powder mixers with yogurt?
They look like what King Arthur Flour sells called Jammy Bits. They’re not 100% fruit but they taste good! I’ve used them in peanut butter cookies and oatmeal for a pop of flavor.
Good to know!
100% not actual blueberries. I don't think any of their mixes contain actual fruit, but they are tasty enough.
"Ingredients: Enriched Flour Bleached (wheat flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Canned Wild Blueberries (blueberries, water, liquid sugar),..."
The full sized box (makes a dozen muffins) has a can of real blueberries.
It would be fun to add some fresh fruit if you had some on hand
You can always add fresh berries to the mix as well as a streusel topping to enhance the mix.
You must not make them.
Super idea!
Deliciousness
Dried and dyed carrots probably. The blueberry flavor is in with the flour.
There are no carrots in the ingredients.
You don't have to spread the batter...it spreads when you close the lid
You should know better than to travel anywhere without a cooling rack! 😁
😂
Great video!
Yes, you have to be careful about blueberry containing food because most of the times it’s not real blueberries.
For better taste use milk instead of water
some people don’t like milk
When I did it the waffle stuck to griddle
sometimes you may need to use a little butter or oil, especially if the nonstick coating on the appliances isn’t working very well
Do you typically use an oil spray on your waffle maker?
sometimes
That sounds great. I wonder if this would work with homemade cake batter, or what else could be made in the waffle maker.
Here are my Dash Mini Waffle Maker Recipes - ruclips.net/video/N2x0DEpepaM/видео.html
Did you use anything so the batter wont stick?
whatever I showed in the video is what I used. If I didn’t show anything then I didn’t use anything..
I don't care for the muffin mixes on the waffle maker/griddle because they tend to have too much moisture. I cook my waffles no less than 7 minutes but they don't crisp when using the mix.
Yes, a traditional waffle is going to be crispier.
@@CounterCooking One thing I've learned is that if I add some powdered peanut butter OR protein powder to waffle or pancake batter, it does remove some of the moisture... that's something to experiment with I think. Thanks for your great videos! 💖
I will look for an organic muffin mix... gluten free.
yes, there are much healthier options with regards to muffin mixes
luv u
$1.25 a package…no, not real blueberries!
Oooooo…..🤩💙🤩
I’d be careful sometimes those packages contain bugs
Yes, always look at what you're cooking.
I hate channels where there’s too much talking going on.
I hate viewers that leave rude and ignorant comments like anyone cares about their opinion. #sodumb.
I hate you
They are blueberries... dehydrated berries look like that. I'd rather do a cinnamon muffin and throw in some fresh blueberries.
They are definitely not dehydrated berries. Yes, much better to use fresh.
They are basically candy. Dried blueberries are spherical, not thick jimmies/sprinkles.
The front of the package stated that they were imitation blueberries.
