Heather Gray is the first doll of Shadow High I've ever seen... she is stunning! I love her two-toned hair because of the braids and hair extensions-such cool ideas for doll hair!! I have to comment on the makeup too. I think she was going for white eyeliner on her bottom waterline to make her eyes look bigger. In real life, people do that to make themselves look doll-like, so I guess since Heather is already a doll that makes her a superdoll? Haha idk, but it fits her aesthetic to be a bit extra~
She was the first doll I got (I plan to collect them but they are expensive so I’ll need time as I am a college student) and I actually have her some piercings and she looks so amazing tbh- I gave her two nose piercings with a chain between them, eyebrow piercings, and additional ear piercings-

I have a couple super teeny little piercings and studs that I'm going to be adding to mine eventually too as well as teeny tattoos I've just misplaced them which is super annoying because I would have loved to have had them on her already for the footage but oh well. Yours sounds really cool that's what matters.

I found four Heathers with the different dress variant and I bought her. Her choker was also upside down so apparently she goes to High Shadow 😂 The cool thing about the jacket is how she can actually wear it too! I was so happy when I found that out but I don't want to put it on her too much because I'm afraid the elastics will snap.
personally she is my fav rainbow high doll of all time, like her details give me chills. like the snakeskin, bamboo earrings, and skeleton motifs all work together so well!!!! 🐍🖤☠️

She is definitely my favorite but even though I love snake skin, it is a bit much even for me, especially in her second outfit 😆. Definitely wouldn't wear full snake skin print long pants with full snake skin print long sleeves... 😆 Btw, Jen, that little piece of hair in the front falling on your forehead is so adorable! ❤️
I am usually not into "skin" fabrics either but omg, I love her eyes and all the details. I just couldn't help myself. She sitting on my bookcase looking gorgeous. Btw lol the editing in the beginning was a nice touch. *chuckles in her adult form*
I know a super easy way to make a mannequin! You can wrap a doll's body with cling wrap, then press it in clay to get the imprint.(DO NOT WAIT FOR THE CLAY TO DRY BEFORE FINISHING THE PROJECT!!!!) Do this for the front and back. Fill the two imprints with hot glue. Wait for it to cool down. Take the two resulting halves out of the clay (it should be easy if you did not wait for too long). You can sculp the space needed for the peg at the bottom of the two halves. Once you are sure the stick you choose will fit the hole, you can glue the two halves together, and put the stick in the hole. I am suggesting this as a craft video. I do not make videos, so I would be really happy to see this method being shared amongst doll lovers!
@@NexJen Also, for another craft project: Electric tape is super useful! I have used it along with wires to make a pair of shoes (It is easier with Rainbow high dolls, as they have bigger feet. The rubber finish of electric tape is super interesting to make mini bags, shoes and more! And on top of that, it comes in many colours!
I was unsure about Heather when SH was first announced, but I loved her outfit pieces. Once I had her in hand, I absolutely fell in love with her! She's got such a striking design and stands out even among the other SH girls I have on my shelf. SH is probably my favorite line from the RH team for sure. Even Luna, who I wasn't gonna get at all, ended up being a 10/10 for me once I plucked her bangs. They're all so pretty!
I love these dolls but I also find it kind of odd that their skin color is just a gray scale it’s almost like they are aliens it’s just kinda odd to me cuz they are supposed to be people I love the designs and I want emo dolls but the skin is just throwing me off Edit: I think I figured out y it’s throwing me off it’s the eyes cuz they are colored but the skin isn’t so it’s like a vintage filter but the eyes are normal
I had issues with Heather's hands too! I don't have any of the other sh dolls so I can't speak for their quality, but my Amaya, Holly, and Laurel did not have as stiff of hands. My Heather's tank top did not fit, it was too tight and I could barely get it closed in the back over the sheer shirt. Heather is definitely my favorite of this line, followed by Natasha (I might try to get a Natasha at some point 🤔) Also, the strappy heels, for RH and SH, are just so weak and hard to put on their feet
I wish they would have given some base tonal variation to the snake skin; shade the base fabric in places with grey before printing the pattern. The concept art is a few shades darker and I think it looks a lot better. My only other comment...the black top? That's a bustier not a tank top... 😅

My best friend and I got SH dolls today and she tore her shoes trying to get them over her heel. She cut the straps to avoid any further damage to it but otherwise she's having a blast with Heather!
I really love my heather Grayson, but I def had some issues. Her heels snapped off the boots, so I had to super glue and her earrings were already popping off as I got her out of the box. However, I still love the whole shadow high line so far.
My earrings kept popping out too, the posts are really short. Sorry about your boots. At first I thought mine were faulty but they weren't. I was prepared with superglue on the sidelines lol. I always have that stuff at the ready when I open dolls, because sadly a lot have to be fixed.
I have Heather, and she is my favorite Shadow High doll after Naomi and Veronica. The details on her clothes are impressive and her boots, corset top, and choker are my favorite pieces that she comes with. Her second outfit corest top also looks great on Emi and is very versatile.
I ADORE her, but I don’t like snake skin either! But I love her style, I was waiting for them to do a doll like this, I love BEGOTHS dolls, and she makes me remember them >< although I agree she could be more goth/emo/scene with other clothes
im super late but i find the easiest way to put her pumps on is to put the straps on first facing backwards and then slide them to front for the bottom of the shoe !!

She was my first Shadow high character. I hate those loose rings and one of her hands kept falling out. Then I cute down the peg and it doesn’t fall out anymore. I love her.

I am so excited to actually have the first line I’ve actually completed, except the special sleepover society. I am still trying to complete the first three series and Pacific Coast. I’d totally want a goth SH doll. I collect goth dolls, so I was hooked on Dusk and Moonlight from LOL .

Her eyeliner is sorta ‘anime eye’
for me it helps to put the shoes with straps on backwards. the front of the strap is more flexible so it's easier to get it over the heel of the foot!
My Heather came with the hair loops! How lucky was that? I plan to also switch the extensions I juat haven't done it yet.

We have one wild hearts crew doll and we loved her. Sadly we didn't get them in Canada so I didn't get a chance to really feel out the line.

When I got heather and first unbox her, I notice that one side is straight and the other side was wavy/curly. Did anyone else had this problem?
