- Step-by-step stringing instructions for the Head Speed MP 500. This is a 16x19 stringing pattern being strung with Solinco Hyper G 17g at 24 kilos mains and 23 kilos crosses. I am using a 2 piece stringing method on a Wilson Baiardo constant pull electronic stringing machine.

I have posted pretty much everything about stringing, so now I am just focusing on new racquets when I get them. Don't get them very often.
Good to see you back at it Herb! Any advice for a stringer who is finally starting their own stringing business after 18 years of stringing on the side?
start reaching out to private schools and coaches. Offer to string the coaches free if they refer their students to you. Private schools usually do not have stringers, so you may be able to pick some up there. If there is a university in your area with a team, reach out to the visiting teams coaches a few days ahead of their matches. Go to some high school matches and find out where they string at. try to pick some of that up.

Yep someone left me the same comment saying I already destroyed customers strings with a starting clamp when in fact they don’t know how to use their starting clamp right while plenty of pro stringers were seen on video using the starting clamp without any issues. And another person told me not to string for someone else. Oh boy.
Why did they say it destroys the strings?
