As someone who got out of a horrid relationship where I was being abused I belt this song along with her. Especially when it gets to the I don't need somebody to scold me. Unless you ever been in a situation where someone literally was treating you like their child and you had no idea how to get out because they took everything from Kelly said f that. It's an anthem. For people who are recovering or getting through something difficult

She makes it all look so easy and natural and can replicate her performance to the point where you don't know if you are listening to the studio version or a live performance. I also don't think some people realize how good her backup singers are. I like how she always acknowledges the band and thanks the singers. You don't see that a lot where someone is saying "HEY! Lets 'give it up' for these people too!" I've always liked Kelly very much and saw how genuine she was waaaay back in 2002 even. She was just a girl w/pigtails in one very old interview I saw of her and she was the exact same person she is now. I would very much like to sit down and have a glass of wine with her... Oh, one more thing, it just pisses me off SO MUCH when people start focusing on her damn weight! Ya plan on hooking up with her people?!! First of all....it ain't gonna happen and second of all.....she's short and even 10 pounds can make a huge difference. Besides....she can always lose the weight if ya'all are so hung up on it. Her damn voice is FOREVER so deal with it losers!!

The, “you’re the one with secrets” high note was definitely Kelly. The only background singers in this song are the choir. That high note blew me away!
Amazing reaction. The only background vocals on this are Kelly and Jessi her whole team are participating in this new venture with her as they were the one's who were her army during that time.
At this point, Jesse probably knows Kelly’s voice as well as Kelly does, so it doesn’t surprise me that they’d be handling all the bg vocals together

I would paraphrase these words like this: if you haven't figured yourself out, if you're not sure of yourself, you don't know who you are, then you shouldn't be in a relationship with anyone.
