The usual problem with this cheap chinosium lights is not so much the leds or electronics, its the build material and assembly quality. Im sure the light itself will last longer than than the housing its in. But I agree it would probably look cool behind the facade
They make a "pro" version with DMX on it now.. same price .. with manual control and music based control via you DMX controller it might be a very cheap bonus light.
I use x2 smaller versions of something similar, coverage from them is pretty decent! also curious did the company approach you or you approached them? trying to get some reviews going for Ireland / UK with no luck yet.

Simple things like an rgb par can be bought on AliExpress for cheap. I got several of these: www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-MINI-Led-Stage-Light-High-Power-RGB-Par-Light-With-DMX512-Master-Slave-Led-Flat/32486945841.html They work great for parties, work with dmx but also sound active if that's your thing, ... They're not so great for theatre lightning because of the way how they mix the colors, but they are really great for small parties. And at 20 dollars a light, you can't really go wrong.
