@@rekabfamilyfun4218 In fact, it was one of the things that was going to happen if or when I started planning the concept, i find it very interesting, in fact there was an early phase where instead of having his heart ripped out, they had it hanging from his neck, something like a rope.

OK, so how it basically works. The darkness is replacing his heart even though it’s trying to corrupt him quagmire literally using his life to try to control himself manages to control himself, but the darkness is still here. It has to be there or else his heart will not be there. I mean the darkness literally replaced his heart. and the reason why the darkness replaced his heart is because the darkness needs people to be in good condition to be alive or else they can’t be corrupted they can replace limbs if they get cut off though, so yeah, although most important things like the brain and the heart need to be replaced
