Under the assumption that each data point in the sample rate is a reading measurement from an electrode, and the patterns of ERPs and ERDs are present(of couse observed in the chart), is it safe to logically utilize "MISSINGVALUES" processing over these artifacts to clean up the data?
I am wondering, I believe Nyquist Theory states that the sampling rate must be that of at least twice your sample, but I have been hearing and even saw in a mock board that the sample rate should be at least three times the sample. I asked my EEG instructor and she says it is twice, but I see in the mock board, some other text books, and this video that the sample rate should be at least three times. So I am wondering, is this just different source have opposing definition or am I confusing something?
You are over thinking this. Mathematically you need at least perfectly double; practically you want more than that just to be safe. (If I am going to drive somewhere then how much gas should I put in my car? Perfectly enough or a bit more?)
Good explanation... 👍
Thank you...
You are welcome
