I noticed that setting LB and D Pad Down for Mollies causes issues with death gripping the paddles on the left to crouch and hold breath while aiming brings up there are no molotov grenades available.... oops
You can make any button do anything you want in the settings on your console , under accessories - elite paddle any way so why not just map back left paddle too B , this makes no sense to do all the extra mapping bye changing down on the d pad to b then making the back paddle - down on d pad ! Just don’t need all the extra steps
Great vid Ben. I set mine up with the crouch on the paddle an oh man it makes a huge difference. I hot keyyed heals an switch to driver an that makes it so fluid game play wise. It's crazy. I love it.
The problem is that if I want to be crouched I have to hold on the paddle all the time. I wish we could have one button for the hold to crouch and another button that was the old B button to stay crouched without holding it.
On the series 2 I have the top paddles as LB and the the other as B bottom two I always have as A and X I swear I feel like it's the best combo especially if your running type C

But there is something that keeps bugging me, sometimes if I'm standing still and move my left stick, it runs instead of walking. Let's hope they finally enable action queue. Getting into the car to the driver seat is awesome.
All we need now is an option to turn on AUTO-SPRINT like, you know, every other competitive game. That would be an absolute game changer for a game as clunky and un-athletic as pubg.

just had some issues playing on ps4, feels like very clunky movement all of a sudden, getting stuck next to doors while moving past or moving around corners, movement and look is slow to respond, looks like settings may have been reset. Although can't seem to get the right settings back now, I have set the deadzone sensitivity very low and overall sensitivity on left stick low, right stick two thirds up, but still it feels way off, wonder if theres been an update that fcked it up, does anyone have suggestions?

Seems like if I use the emote wheel to do an emote, then next time I go to hit A or B it still thinks I have the LB or RB held down and it tries to do that action like using a Painkiller rather than say hitting B to jump out of the plane....
The best way for this tactic on Playstation is swap O with R3. With this you can crouch spam while spraying or focused crouch spray. Lean left with O but scuff is 10x simpler. Just mentally delete the O button and you are good to go! (RAINBOWSIX style)
great video Ben. I was part of the beta test on controllers back in September and didn't have high hopes at all. This video changed my mind. Will be definitely trying some of those combos, specially with grenades!

@@Kutani again nope. day one player. and it has nothing to do with any sweetspot. its clunky mechanic and that is why most PC players have it in different button. just like to add that i found the way to do in console as well. so i dont have to worry about any sweetspot jumps.

About the hip fire, it is kind of odd. If you enable aim acceleration, it could get you off target when it activates, you could use a higher sensitivity. Or, disable aim acceleration and use whatever sens.
For anyone that doesn’t want to shell out £130-£150 on an elite controller, you can buy strike pack enforcer from amazon for £30 that clips on to your standard Xbox controller, this has 4 mappable buttons (they also sell a version for PlayStation) another option is the Xbox one enhanced controller by power A that comes with 2 mappable back buttons for around £20 just remember both these options will require your controller to be wired. 👍

Tap to reload is beautiful! Also the button combinations so you can heal on the fly without having to press start or cycle through with the D pad!

On type b controls I know it's look at item and triple tap r3 and look in enemy direction and double tap r3 then press l3 up and hit x

"Next Reticle Type" is simply not an option for me in the custom settings. How odd
They moved reticle changing into your settings in the last update, so I guess that is no longer available as a custom keybind

I believe you can use Scuff controllers with PS4, which have paddles.
You can also buy the back button attachment for ps4 controller. It cost me about £25.

He is using one x and hip firing can be hard but people mostly use aiming over shoulder so ita not a big deal
You should get the xbox series x because it will run at 60 fps but the one x will vary between 50 and 55
