I woke up this morning and just had the melody of this song in my head, I last heard the song about 10 years ago.... I couldn't even remember the name of the band, I thought it started with N :D Then i googled alternatives to Nightwish and quickly found what I was looking for. Still outstanding the song!

this was the first symphonic metal song I ever listened to...it's been years and I still love this kind of music so much
Symphonic Metal and Gothic Metal. Because the atmosphere in the track is kind of dark. And she also got goth clothing in the video.

I love sirenia but this comment is really unnecesary. Thats why some people hate metal fans.
Sirenia has really come far. Tho, I wish their new sound wasn't so mainstream and commercial. I Preferred their sound when Morten Veland's harsher vocals took the lead and his direction wrote in blackish folk metal influences. Their music also narrated prominent themes & mythologies. Their style came unto it's own - genuinely unique and dynamic. Fabienne Gondamin was a great vocalist, too - as the female vocalist at the time; she was used to create contrast and used in moderation to complement the choir and harmonics. She was extremely well tailored to those albums. The vocals now sound too close to generic, but I'm glad Veland is still putting his vocals out there.
