I love how big and beautiful this bear came out. This pattern does not belong to me but I did make a few changes due to confusion in some part. I found this amazing pattern on pinterest, so I will add the link on here.

This is a lovely pattern.. I have made this teddy bear twice using different types of yarn. There is a mistake in the pattern Arms: Row 3 is 14sts not 12. Legs: Row 11 - sc8, dec*2,sc3,dec*2,sc8,dec (24 sts) total 5 decs to get 24 sts not 6 decs

You are right there is 14 not12thank you for pointing that out on row 3 on the arm
Raw 11 hands last 3 sc not 4 for a total of13

I want to apologize if my fumbling causes any issues with your numbers or however RUclips counts things for you. I was watching and accidentally splashed some coffee on my screen. When I was wiping it off I apparently caused the "dislike" thumbs down button to click on and off several times. It was never my intention to ever click that button as I had already clicked the thumbs up "like" button. I'm so embarrassed. This is a wonderful video tutorial, I really appreciate it and plan to make this soon. Definitely making one of theses using a smaller yarn and adding more rows etc this is gonna be the best but gonna try and sew arms/legs into it as I go 😓 for a bit more stability

Hi there, I’m super late! The pattern is the exact same but if the wool/yarn is thinner it will turn out smaller. Also depending on hook size too!
The row 3 rather, is it 12 sts or 14, if we follow the written patten on video I counted it as 14sts. But it says 12sts only

just out of curiousity, do i have to use chunky yarn to make this cause i have a lot of scrap yarn and i was thinking of using it for this bear, thank you in advance and i do love your bear too
Hello! Yes I used chunky yarn and a bigger hook to make a bigger bear. You can use any yarn with the right size hook but the bear will come out smaller. Thank you for watching my video! 🤗❤️

Hey please help me I don't understand the 3rd row? It says: sc, inc, sc 3 times than sc, inc 2 times. But then we need 10 stiches but we only have 8??? So how is that possible???

I have a hard time understanding this pattern! Usually the * are used to mean repeats. How to interpret the instructions? Help please!
Is there a transcript anywhere?
The () is what you are doing so you do how ever many single crochets and how ever many increases that are in the () and then you go back to the beginning and repeat the single crochets and increases how ever many time the number outside of the () says example (sc 5, inc)*6 so you do the things that inside the parentheses 6 times

I tried to make the first arm 2 times already and they turn into a wide bowl shapes, idk what I’m doing wrong ;-;
They look like a bowl at first.. but once you continue with the rows they start looking like arms. I made this teddy bear twice without any issues..

That would probably have to do with the type of yarn you used and how tight your stitches are and the size of your hook. I once made 2 dolls using the same pattern but one of them was a little over half the size of the other one.

@@cutecupcake5829 it's either the stitch count is wrong and the number is right or the other way around. I want to say there's two sc that stand alone at the end of that round, I made this a bit ago for my son,
@@melissastewart5838 In row four i counted how many stiches u had to do in the "twelve" sts however u have to do 14 different sts in row four so the stich count at the end of row 3 is wrong :l
